We are a small family farm run by two artists on 40 acres in the beautiful Shasta Valley. While you're here, you might see us gathering eggs, feeding the chickens, or working in the studio or gardens. You're welcome to wander around the property or hike to the top of our hill for scenic views. We are a working farm and also host WWOOFers, so you may encounter some of our helpers, ongoing projects, or our guardian dogs. We simply ask that you respect the property and follow the farm rules. We have plenty of space for tent camping or RVs (no hookups), or you can stay in our rustic two-bedroom mobile home, also known as the WWOOF House. It features a kitchen, composting toilet, shower, and two queen beds. It's a little funky, but cozy, charming, and fully functional.

Park your tent or self-contained RV on our 40 acre property with expansive views of the Shasta Valley, Klamath and Marble Mountains. We provide fresh eggs, veggies in season, and potable water, but no hookups. This is a working small farm, and you are welcome to wander most of the property. Plan to take all waste with you and leave no trace.

Our funky but sweet renovated mobile home with 2 bedrooms, full bathroom with composting toilet, kitchenette, and expansive views of the valley. Ugly on the outside, cute on the inside! Close to our home and animals (dogs, sheep, chickens) and with views of our small farm and the beautiful valley. Hike on our property, watch farm chores, or look for wildlife. It is quiet and restful and we have beautiful sunsets.

Solitude and connection to earth

This is an incredibly peaceful, perfectly rustic retreat! I got in late and just sat outside in a comfy chair to stargaze at the glorious night sky. The bed was comfortable and I slept great! Breakfast was coffee, farm fresh eggs, and garden-grown tomatoes and cucumbers. The morning light is lovely. Then Jennifer kindly showed me around to see the amazing nature-inspired art that she is working on in her studio and the wonderful garden where they are using regenerative farming. She was very generous and I learned a lot. We were accompanied by her sweet dog Odin and friendly cat Freya. I got to take home some delecata squash and some cucumbers as well as a few more eggs! Would definitely recommend it for anyone who values solitude and connecting with the land, soil, and food!

Humbling views from the casita 🌅

stayed at the casita (mobile home) which really embodies the “Crookedhouse” Ranch spirit <3 they describe it as funky too which is definitely true in multiple senses of the word hahah but don’t be scared, the land and place is so charming, humbling and provided so much space and comfort for my partner and i during our stay! we also got their fresh eggs and farm tour which was so nourishing as my partner and i have been wanting to farm ourselves. these folks have so much rich knowledge, lived experience, and great recommendations we really appreciated them sharing esp for our visit to Mount Shasta (which you can partially see from their land!). the views are truly so stunning from sunrise to sunset and even in the comfort of the casita. their animal guardians and companions are so sweet too you can tell they’re so content here. we highly recommend hiking around their land and up the hill as they recommend. such a wonderful stay!!
