We had a lovely, quiet stay in site #3. While technically a “meadow” site, it’s situated a bit down the hill from the meadow in a flat area with a tree for shade and a nice view at the edge down the hill to the river below, which is where we sat with our coffee in the mornings. While no one was occupying Site #2, it seems like there would be enough brush and trees to provide privacy.
The path to the Upper Swim area was right off our campsite, and it was very convenient and secluded- the riverfront sites had another swim hole so no one seemed interested in venturing up to this one. We spent the day snacking, reading, and cooling off in the water- the deepest area at this time of year was chest height but it was plenty deep to cool down and the temperature was perfect.
We appreciated the bathrooms and the farm stand- we purchased some heirloom tomatoes, eggs, and squash, all of which were delicious. Would definitely recommend staying here!
