Angela was so nice and greeted us when we arrived; she helped orient us to the lovely nuances (like the lights under the umbrellas). We really enjoyed the outdoor shower and appreciated the kitchen amenities. Great use of the space! So close to Auburn and other outdoor adventures. Definitely recommend this place for a stay :)

Had a great time at the wagon, Definitely what we needed during this quarantine. They had everything at the site. Loves the fire pit for s’mores and my puppy Buddha also loved the site. Would definitely recommend it!

Site 6 and 7 are the most private sites. Site 5 looks to be the least desirable as it is on the side of the road. Sites 1-4 are on a hill and have access to water. The sites were well maintained and Angela was a very welcoming host. We would totally stay here again.

The wagon was such a cute place to end my trip! The property itself is quite large, with a couple of tent campsites further off down the road, and some rough trails to walk the property. The wagon was located near the house, but far enough away that it still felt quite private. There is an enclosed outdoor shower on their deck that was amaaaaazing to rinse off in after a very dusty hike, and they had set out a corn hole board to play with. There was a bbq available in my fenced area, and dishes, cookware, cooking utensils, and spices available to me as well. There was a small tv with some dvds, and a water spicket nearby. I had everything I needed, and the wagon was so charming!! A very nice stay :)

We had a lovely stay at Columbia Flat. The campsite is spacious and under the shade of a tree. We enjoyed the nature and quietness!

I loved the vintage wagon, it was adorable and perfect for us. The outdoor shower was perfect and loved that it was surtounded by pine trees. We would love to come back in the fall or winter so we can experience the snow!! Thank you Jeff and Angela for welcoming us, we enjoyed the conversations.

This is our second time staying here and will absolutely be back again. The sites are large, communal space is easy to navigate, and the proximity to river and wineries can’t be beat. 10 out of 10, would recommend.

We had an amazing stay and highly recommend! The house was close to the river and there were plenty of things to do close by. Our hosts were great and provided us with everything we needed. The wagon was perfect and the grill and portable stove were great for making dinner and breakfast. Loved staying here and will hopefully stay again in the future.

My partner and I enjoyed our stay at the wagon. There was a little trouble with wasps, but Jeff sorted them out! It was nice to walk around the property, and we fell in love with Fred and Alex, the dogs. The shower seems close to the main house, but it was refreshing and welcome after a very hot and sweaty day.

Really enjoyed staying at the wagon! The property is along a secluded back road and the wagon is set back amongst walnut trees. Very well furnished with a comfy bed, Propane BBQ and camp stove, as well as plenty of cooking and eating ware. Site also included a picnic table, fire pit, chairs, and shade umbrellas. Hosts were kind and came out to introduce themselves(and occasionally fetch their golden retriever, who will hang out and beg for food). Very close to the the American River, which makes for a great summertime adventure, We really enjoyed our two night stay!

We had a really great time at the wagon!! Jeff and Fred, our hosts, were very friendly and informative. Fred played with our pup, said good morning every morning and showed us around the property. Jeff surprised us with fresh goodies from the property and helped us find some good trails to hit on our bikes. We wished we had more time to explore the property and the surrounding land as it has a lot of history (mines, random artifacts and gold).
The wagon and the space itself was so great. It was nice not to have to pack all the necessities as Jeff and Angela had the wagon stocked with everything we needed. Pots, pans, utensils, can opener, knife, soap and sponge, plates, cups, coffee machine, percolator, propane grill, fire pit, marshmallow sticks, trash can, bedding, fan, heater, shower, port a potty with toilet paper, etc. They sell wood for $5 a bundle and there are plenty of bundles if you plan on using a lot. It seems like a really cool place to have a bunch of friends camp with you as there were other sites for tents and a separate area/shelter to gather for food, fire and festivities.
We would love to come back sometime.

Supper friendly hosts! Fred, the dog greeted us upon arrival and again the next morning to guide us on a walk around the property. Wagon has electricity, was cozy and clean. They have everything you need in case you forget utensils, cookware, portable Butane stove, etc. The portable restroom was clean, huge plus! I definitely enjoyed my stay!

My dog and I had a great 2-night getaway here! We felt very safe at the wagon even with all the COVID stuff going on. The grill has a burner and i was able to make some top notch dinners and breakfasts on it. We spent our days hanging out by the river when we weren’t chilling at the wagon. Jeff, Angela, and their dog Fred were all wonderful hosts!

We had a wonderful stay in the Stage Wagon. Beautiful and spacious property that was perfect for a few days of quiet relaxation. The stage wagon was comfortable and had everything we needed. It was nice to have our own white-picket fenced area, it felt very safe and private. Very sweet dog Fred, who would greet us in the morning and got on well with our dog. We found a lovely hike and spot to chill by the river called the "Gerle Loop Trail", just a short drive away in the nearby town of Lotus that we highly recommend. We had a lovely stay and would definitely go back again.

Such a great and unique stay. We had perfect weather and the site and wagon were exactly as described. Angie was an amazing host and even sent us home with fresh cut artichokes from her garden. Looking forward to going back!!

This was nice! Really cute little wagon. Angela brought us fresh cut watermelon the moment we arrived which we were not expecting and was such a nice touch. We went for a long walk all around their property (there are trails) -- best part was the dog Fred who came with us. Very easy to grill/make a fire. Very chill enjoyable camping experience!

So much more than we expected. Angela had literally thought of everything. The site had such lovely touches and made the stay more glampy than campy - though we loved it. The wagon has everything you need and more. We loved the fire pit and found the outdoor lighting made it so easy to hang outside at night. The fence also meant our dogs were free to roam around off leash. Had a great stay overall and really impressed with the value - especially relative to other listings on hip camp.

My wife and I had a great time staying in Jeff & Angela's wagon. The site is lovingly designed with a few shaded chairs, a picnic table and gas grill.
After our arrival, Angela brought us some delicious water melon which was perfect on a warm day.
In the early evening we took a long walk ~1h on their huge and beautiful property. There are grassy hills, shaded groves, lots of old oak trees and even a hidden pond.
The bed inside the wagon was very comfortable, but if you are very tall (greater than 6' 5") you may find the bed a bit short. It was perfectly fine for my wife and I (I'm 6'1", my wife is 5'1").

This place was perfect. All the amenities of home but all the fun of camping. Our dog loved running around the property and playing with Fred the dog. Jeff and Angela were really nice to us and gave good suggestions on things to do in the area. We saw deer and turkeys on the property and some bald eagles on a day trip to Loon Lake from there.

This wagon was a little paradise! There was every amenity we could possibly need and we had everything we needed to cook all of our meals. The property was gorgeous and we got the full nature vibes we were looking for. We definitely plan on coming back :)

This campsite was perfect - cozy, cute and had everything we needed to cook and make our morning coffee. We went with our dog who was safe inside the wodden fenced area. The shepherds hut was adorable and clean. We had elecetricity to watch tv and charge our phone. The propane BBQ and firepit was great and the outdoor shower was hot and refreshing. We really could not have wanted for anything more - we'll definitley return.
