It is said that originally one man owned all this land but he hadn't any money. To save the life of his beloved wife, to pay for her treatment, he build one little cottage after the other and sold these parcels. Eight all together. That's was in the fifties. His son is still living on a prime property of this area in the Painted Hills.

    Midcentury homestead. Amazing views
    Beautiful house with wonderful accommodations. The house and landscape was beautiful, and I loved using the grill to cook up delicious meals. Kitchen was stocked. The cell reception and WIFI both aren't great, but that's honestly the best part in my opinion. I loved completely disconnecting - highly recommend!
