Our family owned cabins are located across the street from Lake Almanor! Together with our crew, we're excited to welcome you into our home away from home. We believe in outdoor BBQs, starry nights, good laughs, exploration, deep sleep, and an early rise. The mountains are a place to get back to basics, a place to explore, to breathe. So turn off your phone and return to your senses. We hope Camp Almanor becomes your home as it is ours. It’s located in one of the most spectacular areas in the world. From craggy peaks and high mountain lakes to wild and winding rivers, we’re surrounded on all sides by the Lost Sierra. Avoid the crowds and explore Lassen Volcanic National Park, just a short drive away, it is home to steaming fumaroles, meadows freckled with wildflowers, clear mountain lakes, and numerous volcanoes. We're proud to know this area intimately and are excited to share the secret spots with you. Excellent hiking & running trails, and thousands of miles of ATV, dirt bike, and mountain bike trails are accessible right from our camp or within a short drive from Camp Almanor. You may just want to sit outside and read for days, enjoy the tall pine trees, and eat s’mores. The more adventurous may prefer kayaking, boating, fishing, bird watching, and stand-up paddle boards. The surrounding terrain offers endless activities and unbelievable scenery in a remote wilderness setting. Our cabin collection is where you will find the perfect lodging for your stay. Our options include a cozy studio cabin with a full bed, bunk beds, or futon, our popular loft cabin that sleeps up to six with a queen bed and two full mattresses in a low-ceiling loft, and our spacious chalet with room for eight. Each cabin comes with a fully stocked kitchen and essential items like linens and towels, ensuring a comfortable stay. To make your stay more comfortable, we suggest bringing along some additional beach towels, as the towels provided are meant for use only within the cabin. No matter what size group you are traveling with, we have a cabin option for you. Book now to enjoy a peaceful and relaxing getaway in the heart of nature. Pet Policy All our cabins and seasonal RV sites are pet friendly and we allow up to two dogs per reservation. We ask that they stay off the furniture (beds, sofas etc.) and are not left in the rental unattended. We love dogs, but sadly won’t be able to accommodate heavily shedding pets that aren’t house trained. Additionally, our insurance will not allow "aggressive breeds" that include any mix of: Pit Bull, Rottweiler, Doberman, German Sheppard. Please pick up after your pup and use a leash when at the camp. Thank you in advance for your consideration and help in keeping our camp a mellow and enjoyable place for everyone.

It has cathedral ceilings, mirrored wardrobes in the bedroom, bathroom with shower/bathtub and skylight, queen bed in the bedroom, full size sofa bed in the living room, ceiling fans in bedroom and living room and a large deck with gorgeous views of the lake. The detached studio has a full size bed, futon sleeper, full bath and kitchenette with bar stool seating. The studio can comfortably sleep 3 adults or two adults and two small children. We had a great 2-night stay with our dog! The cabin was quiet, cozy and very clean. We enjoyed having AC and a comfy bed and the extra touches like popcorn, olive oil, nice shampoo/conditioner and a citrus candle were much appreciated!

Small cabin with tiny kitchenette, nice deck. Odd that there is no sink in the bathroom to wash hands. Hands have to be washed in the kitchen which I didn’t like (nurse in me)

We really enjoyed our stay in the cabins at Camp Almanor. The cabins and facilities are very clean and well cared-for, and the hosts are helpful, friendly, and available. They are located just a few hundred yards from the water, though unfortunately the beach access is limited to a few points a short drive away. Deer, bald eagles, and osprey were frequent visitors.
