This area used to be a mining town known as Vincent during the California Gold Rush. And our location was used specifically as a stagecoach stop back in that day. The small white house was built in 1929. The foundation from the original homestead which burned down many years ago, can be found at the far north of the parcel, across from the main entrance at angeles forest highway. Learn more about this land: Beautiful views of surrounding mountains as you drive through the Escondido pass on Highway 14 or Sierra Highway. Our location is at the Gateway to the Angeles National Forest. Across from us is the Vincent Hill station Saloon and restaurant. Amazing destination dining. Live music and dancing on the weekends. And of course you can easily walk to the Metrolink train station that will take you either to Lancaster or to Union Station and Chinatown, in downtown Los Angeles. This area used to be a mining town known as Vincent during the California Gold Rush. And our location was used specifically as a stagecoach stop back in that day. Some of our features are still under development, please excuse our dust. We are endeavoring to provide as comfortable and enjoyable an experience for you as possible . Discounts are available for any assistance You may wish to contribute to our Improvement goals. As mentioned, there are trains that come through our pass from time to time, and however exciting that may be, it may be useful to have some earplugs on hand, especially for lighter sleepers. (We have some here if you need them, our compliments - on the house.) For those of us who live in the area and/or have camped in campgrounds along the soledad pass, we quickly find ourselves sleeping right through the occasional overnight transports.
