The host Pierce is really nice and was flexible with where I set up camp, considering I had some car troubles that kept me from getting there when I planned. He even offered an additional night stay free of charge, which was very considerate and kind. But, unfortunately, I left without staying the night because I didn't feel super safe. I was by myself, there were no other campers, and there's no cell signal out there at all (for AT&T at least). In fact, you're about a 30mins drive from any cell signal at all. Of course, being a privately owned site and all, there's no rangers or any sort of anything safety-wise. Idk, maybe I'm just paranoid after too many true crime podcasts. In any case, the driveway in is very long, very rugged, and not well suited for anything but trucks and maybe some bigger SUVs, which wasn't super well communicated going into it. While the land as a whole is flat compared to the hilly region, the site itself was full of tree stumps and big rocks and all sorts of stuff that made it impossible to find a decent flat spot to set up a tent. There are so many trees that you can't hardly see the stars, too, which is kind of a bummer. While the seclusion can be nice, it does suck being 30+ minutes from any of the cool sites/things to do in the NW Arkansas area (though, to be fair, he mentioned some places on the property that could offer good sights) Idk, imho, Kings Crossing was a better campground for only $10 compared to the $20 it was here. You could hear more road noise there, but everything else they had was worth it.
