Remote and secluded, this beautiful valley 12 miles from Batesville AR provides the primitive camping retreat that you’re looking for. Located on our 140 acre family farm, you will cross a low-level creek to access this property. (Truck or SUV is recommended, 4wd during rainy conditions.) Sites have composting toilet/outhouses available as well as access to fishing, swimming and kayaking in Polk Bayou, with beautiful water views of Sullivan creek. Enjoy the hiking trails and take in the beautiful scenery of the Ozark Hills during your stay. Pets that are leashed and well behaved are welcome, but we must be notified that you will be bringing them. •NO ALCOHOL or drugs, unreasonable noise, violent behaviour, or displaying/discharging of firearms or other weapons are permitted on the property.

Very nice place. Google maps will not bring you there, do not use maps, use their description in their message they send you. Way faster!! Nice sandy beach, creekside , very clear clean water. We walked in the water to fish for an hour. The water is not cold at all. Most of it may be 12 inches deep to at the most waist deep. The entrance to their property is a water crossing but pretty. Playground set, outhouse, plenty of shade. No Internet access at all our ATT phones didnt have any. Pretty mountains in the background. Nice owners we met on arrival. Will definitely stay again.

Waterview Camping - Site 1
Beautiful, peaceful spot to camp beside the water! The kids liked the rock steps down to the water and had fun playing on the playground. The fire pit encircled by lights was lovely. The outhouse was clean and smelled of fresh cedar. The host did a nice job preparing for us by freshly mowing the grass. They also were very quick to respond and offer assistance when we had trouble with directions. We enjoyed our stay!

Absolutely beautiful site. There is play equipment for the kids,, fire rings with wood,, and an outhouse. There's a gorgeous stream and an excellent spot for star gazing on 150 acres They even have a few trained, friendly dogs, which I needed when I got there. They were super accommodating. I highly recommend these hosts

The campsite was clean, spacious, flat, serene, everything we could've asked for out of our camping experience. The owners greeted us at the gate and gave us direction to our site, set up with a small fire pit and little stack of wood. I would suggest bringing your own, as there's not much around to utilize. Our site was directly off the creek bed, running with beautiful pristine clear waters. Any creek junkie could get lost for hours. I plan to, as both my girls and myself plan to camp here again this summer. Even they are already ready to go back! I thank the owners for sharing this hidden gem with us ❤️

Kids and I loved our trip here!! Camped right on the river and could set on the bank and watch time float by. The owners were super helpful and friendly!! Several other happy campers were there for the eclipse but I never heard any of them from our campsite. Wonderful area and the kids swam in the beautiful creek! Will definitely return!

Waterview Camping - Site 2
This place was exactly what I was looking for! It’s a huge beautiful field surrounded by hills with woods, the campsites are spread out right next to a fishing stream. And they’re spread out, I hate being right on top of other people. Included was a fire pit with complimentary wood to burn and very clean composting toilets. Best part was the kindness and warmth of Sam and Amy. They were so welcoming to me even though I arrived quite late and they shared some of their families delicious barbecue with me. Their knowledge of the local area was terrific, Sam is a fascinating guy with great stories. He even made a call to a friend to check on traffic conditions for me. Highly recommend this place.

Beautiful and peaceful spot! Super clear directions and very sweet hosts who made sure we had what we needed. We were lucky to find this spot on our way through Arkansas. Would definitely recommend!
