Mountain View Escape sits on 30-acres surrounded by Ouachita National Forest. An A-frame sits facing northeast with majestic views of Mount Magazine, where the owner resides. The property is nestled up against Flood Mountain and flanked by Potato Hills Mountain on the east side. There is a fenced in 10-acre hay field that is cut, raked and baled 2-3 times a year. In the hay field sits a quaint pond. If you are into fishing, swimming, kayaking, boating or standup paddleboarding, Blue Mountain lake is only 10 minutes away. If you would like to explore National Forest by bike or side-by-side, you can roll out from this property into magnificent gravel wonderland that goes for hundreds of miles. Monument mountain biking trails are another option if you'd like to travel to Mt Nebo, Hotsprings, Fayetteville, Little Rock or Bentonville, Arkansas. There are numerous hiking trails available at Mount Magazine State Park 45 minutes away and Petit Jean State Park is an 1-hour away.

Nestled in the shadow of Mt. Magazine region, we are welcoming tent campers to our little slice of heaven. We have several locations for rustic camping. This beautiful property is located in a rural, lightly populated area with little if any light disruption. This is a great opportunity to enjoy the beauty of rural Arkansas in a comfortable safe area. Most areas are flat or open fields with unrestricted views. Enjoy the beautiful horses in the mornings while drinking a cup of coffee.

Ouachita Forest Getaway

Pitch your tent in a nice, open space in the yard surrounded by trees. If you have a car or small campervan, you can pull in, turn around and pick your sweet spot. You will have access to a picnic table and fire ring. This site is in close proximity to the gravel road and backed up to the Ouachita National forest. The site has a telephone pole with a light that comes on from dusk to dawn. You will wake up to views of beautiful horses in the 10-acre hay field and Mount Magazine.

Pond with Mt Magazine View

Site is beautifully situated next to a small pond in the middle of a hay field. You will wake up to gorgeous views of Mount Magazine, Potato Hill Mountain and Flood Mountain. The grass is cut along the fence and around the pond to allow for foot traffic and for a vehicle to be able to park next to the campsite. You can put a tent up or park your car or small campervan at this site. It is off-grid, with potable water available on the property. There is a picnic table and a firepit on site.
