Beautiful campsite

Site 1 was beautiful and nicely secluded away from the other campsites. The trails were well-marked and the views were lovely with several vistas and benches to sit on along the trails. Everything was clean and well-maintained. Will definitely come back and book again, hopefully after a rain when the creeks are running!

My wife and I spent a lovely weekend at Site 3! It felt very private and we enjoyed the pond area and all the trails, the outhouse was very nice and clean as well. We definitely want to come back in the spring when the water is flowing.

10/10 recommend, this was a great camping experience. It was off the beaten path and easy to find. Far enough from the other campsites that you couldn’t even see their lights through the woods. Very clean and thought out, trails around the camp were very well marked and easy to navigate. Will definitely be back!

Site 3 felt private to us. The area was well thought out. We really enjoyed the trails and benches to soak in some pretty views. I think we will go back in the spring when the creeks are running, it was a fun visit.

Camping here was amazing! I stayed at site 1 and it was very well maintained. The table, tent platform, and outhouse were all great quality and well kept. Fire wood and the trash were both easily accessible. There were a few a few errant noises, such as some gun shots from a nearby shooting range and a cow mooing, but neither would persuade me away from staying here again! I will be recommending this place to anyone looking to camp near Eureka Springs!

Beautiful site with beautiful views! We lucked out and it rained, so we ended up with water in the creek. Such a peaceful place to camp, and I cannot recommend it enough!

A Gem in the Woods

Oh my gosh! What an amazing campsite!! I’ve camped all over the state of Arkansas and this was one of the most enjoyable experiences so far. There is so much care in the aesthetics of each site…rock-lined paths, a private toilet that doesn’t hold smells, stone fire pits, well-marked and cleared hiking trails, and so much more. Mason offers firewood and water for purchase, which is great for ease. We’d go back in a heartbeat.

Tent camping at site three was awesome. I had my two dogs and they loved it. It was beautiful, peaceful and overall an excellent set up. At the time this was the last camp site on the road so we passed the other camps on the way and it was secluded. The outhouse was super nice. It was clean, bright and set up well. There was access to trails right from camp.

Cold Creek Valley Site 1

It was a perfect in the middle of the woods set up. The main packed gravel road was really nice and the road to Cold Creek is narrow but easy to navigate. I would recommend a higher up car (we were in a Ford Focus). The view was perfect and the site is very secluded other than the occasional drive by of other campers at 2 and 3. I will definitely be staying here again! I was also impressed at how nice the picnic table is and the outhouse!

My boyfriend and I had a great time staying here! The camp spot was awesome. Great view of the stars from our site and a really cool view of the mountains at the top of one of their trails. Hosts were nice and checked to make sure we had everything we needed. Definitely would stay here again!

Very well kept and maintained campsite and walking trails. Nicest outhouse with art and everything you’d need to feel fresh. We enjoyed the trails, cooked on the campfire and really enjoyed the nature made orchestra. Thanks!

Great campsite!!

Price was great, camp site was located in a nice area with great seclusion but not to far outside of town and tons of great attractions and the owner was very attentive and polite. We stayed in site 2 and found it to be the overall best location out of the 3. The creek was dry, but I am sure it would be amazing in the spring with some fresh rain run off, also our dogs loved the big open field to play in. I would 100% recommend this location to any tent camper looking of an off the beaten path feel.

Site 2 was wonderful! We only stayed for one night unfortunately, but we had a great time relaxing by the creek and taking the trails. Everything was clean and well maintained and we’d be happy to stay again.

This property is absolutely gorgeous!!!! They have put in so much hard work and our Hyundai sonata made it just fine on the gravel roads and dirt roads! Even though there's been lots of rain recently we still made it perfectly fine even across the small creek crossings! The property owner was kind enough to offer a bundle of wood on the house to apologize for the mud pit in the entrance, which was so incredibly kind and he didn't even have to offer that since we made it with no issues. Anyways, amazing people who worked their butt off to create an amazing campsite and nature get away! Thank you so much for your hard work and sharing your beautiful property and being so kind and helpful!!! This is definitely our #1 place to go camping now!!!

This campsite was perfect, slept looking up at the stars with the sound of the creek flowing. I loved that there was no cell service or electric outlets as it made for a peaceful, unplugged night. The outhouse surprisingly smelt really good and had everything we needed. Directions were clear and direct. I would highly recommend site #2 tor primitive camping.

My husband and I came down for a spontaneous anniversary trip, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. We stayed at Site 3 and had complete privacy…exactly what we were hoping for. The site was thoughtfully prepared and ready for us when we arrived. We explored every trail we came across, and each one was beautifully maintained with its own unique charm that made the experience even more enjoyable. With no artificial lighting, the night sky views were absolutely stunning. If you’re looking to unplug completely, unwind, and slow down for a while, this is the perfect place to do it.

The campsites and trails on Mason's property are so thoughtfully designed and maintained. It's incredibly quiet and the absence of artificial light make for an incredible night sky. End to end, the experience was seamless. We certainly hope to return!

Mason was a great host. He was able to get firewood to our site after we made a last minute request the day of our booking. I would highly recommend any site he offers. They’re very clean, comfortable, and his property has plenty of things to enjoy. Our dog also enjoyed his first campout!

Had a great time camping at Cold Creek Valley. Site 2 was everything I could ask for. Plenty of trails to explore. Loved the meadow across from the site. The creek had a little water flowing and was fun walking the creek bed.

Peaceful, Private, and Perfect — Our Favorite Hipcamp! This is hands-down the best Hipcamp I’ve stayed at. It’s incredibly peaceful and secluded — I’ve never seen another person during our stays, which makes it feel like our own private paradise. There’s no phone service at site 2, but I don’t mind. I always feel completely safe here, and it’s the perfect place to disconnect and unwind. My dogs absolutely love it — they have so much space to run freely and cool off in the creek. Even my cat came camping with us and had a blast exploring the trails! It’s rare to find a spot that feels this remote but still feels welcoming and secure. If you’re looking for a quiet escape surrounded by nature, this is the place. Can’t recommend it enough — we’ll be back again and again.
