Relax w/ the gang at this peaceful working ranch on 500 beautiful acres. This amazing property can host multiple families, corporate retreats, or small groups. There is much to explore and do on-site during your stay, including hiking to the bluffs/waterfall, fishing in the 2 creeks, kayaking, swimming, horse back riding (if guests would like to bring their own horses), visit the Civil War grave sites, roast s'more's around the fire, play pool, ping-pong, shuffle board, or just get some R&R!This site is set in a valley surrounded by mountains. There are 500 acres to roam, ride, and hike. Off road vehicles are a lot of fun to have on this property. Feel free to bring your vehicles to ride. There is a union soldier gravesite, a cemetery that dates to the 1850’s, and a beautiful waterfall that is a short hike. Archey creek runs through the middle of the ranch! You would not want to cross it in a car, so have at least one pickup. The house has 4200 sq ft. One part consist of a kitchen, bathroom, bedroom, and living area that is 1200 sq ft. A short hall connects to a 3000sq ft building. The downstairs is wide open with living area, bar area, half bath, ping pong, shuffleboard, and pool table, laundry room. The upstairs has five bedrooms. One of them has a king size bed, and two have queen beds. The fourth bedroom has a double bed, one bunk bed, and a couch that makes into a bed. The 5th bedroom has a double bed, twin bed and a bunk bed. There are three bathrooms. The fourth bedroom has access to two bathrooms and the 5th bedroom has access to one bathroom. The is a deck off the three front bedrooms where you can sit in peace and quiet and enjoy a beautiful view. There is fishing, and if you are a hunter, you can hog hunt on the property. It is 20 miles to the nearest town (Clinton) with a grocery store and Wal mart, a Mexican restaurant and good fish restaurant (L’Attitude Bistro). Leslie is a small town 15 miles in the other direction. It has a lot of antique stores. The Red River Cafe (home cooking) is just before you get to the town, and there is the Skylark Cafe in town that serves a wonderful lunch. There are river activities within 20-30 miles… float the Buffalo River. Branson MO, a Mecca of entertainment and shopping, is 2 hours to the north. You will not be bored!
