Gopher It Acres was fantastic, Dan and Dan are excellent hosts, probably the best equipped campsite we have visited. Easy communication, welcoming, the other guests were quiet and respectful. We arrived at night and woke up to a spectacular view of AZ.. very happy with our choice, unfortunately we had a short stay and couldn't make the best of the area, we would like to return again on another trip through.

We stayed at this campsite to visit the Grand Canyon. It's a 40 minute drive. The campsite is very clean and cosy. Everything you need is here. The bathhouse with toilet and shower (with hot water) is very clean. There are also some games present. We did some arching, very nice.

Grand Canyon Land Yacht
This was an amazing experience! The land yacht was fun and the entire property was well maintained. We especially liked all the toys and games provided.

The yacht was a unique experience! We felt like we were out at sea with the perfect decor and ambiance. The property and amenities were on point. Taking a hot shower outdoors is a must try! You won’t be disappointed.

Wide open land. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Stargazing. Bathroom open to the sky. Quiet. Responsive and friendly hosts! Only downside for us was the wind that comes through for a few hours mid to late afternoon. We loved our stay there!

Beautiful, peaceful setting in the high desert.
360 degree views, we could see lightning storms in the distance and amazing night skies when it was clear.
Communication with The Dans was great, directions extremely detailed and easy to follow. Once on site they checked in by messaging and were very quick to respond when we had a question.
The washroom/outdoor shower are wonderful and the decor throughout the campsite is quirky and fun.
We loved our 2 night stay here. Very convenient for visiting Grand Canyon National Park.

This was a great pick to unwind n enjoy some tranquil time after a day at the Grand Canyon. Star gazing is next level if you’re fortunate enough to have clear skies, Milky Way is gorgeous out there. Definitely would opt for the firewood cause it hit the spot once the wind died down at sunset. Road is a bit rough but I made it fine in a Prius. Hosts were more than amazing at checking in, sending spot on pictures to help with directions and quite friendly in all our interactions. If I’m back in this area again will for sure be hitting them up for another visit. Thanks Dans!

Our campsite was absolutely perfect and exceeded our expectations. Everything we could possibly need was provided and easily accessible. The Dan’s instantly texted me back when I had a question about that shower. The bathroom/shower was very clean and comfortable. I definitely recommend!!

Our group had been on the road for a week coming all the way from Ohio. We found this place to be near one of our stops which was the Grand Canyon. We hadn't showered for about a week and we're in need of one badly haha. When we arrived, the property was unique and away from the noise. We did tent camping, the site came with firewood and tools to use. We took our first shower and it had HOT WATER!!! We were thrilled and the hosts had everything you could imagine on the property for our use. Also met Daniel when he made a trip out to restock and check everything. Super friendly and kind, gave us a card, goodie bagt, hand warmers and fire starting wood. Highly recommend staying here whether you're coming or going to the Grand Canyon. Enjoyed our stay, thank you Dan and Daniel!!!

Our stay at the Dan's yacht was nothing short of perfect. Location was great, an easy 40 min drive to the Grand Canyon. They provided everything needed for a comfortable stay - warm blankets, towels, snacks, great communication and easy to follow directions to their site. It was a unique and special stay for my now fiancé after this trip! Can't wait to return to this special place in the future.

This campsite is awesome!! It came with a little box full of necessities and snacks. The spaces were perfectly spaced out and has a privacy fence. The views are awesome we got to see snow cap mountains from our tent. The option for firewood was nice and already set out for us. There is a clean bathroom and grilling station with cornhole boards and stuff for kids to play with. You can tell the owners really care about their guests. Fast response times. Will definitely recommend and return in the future (when it’s a bit warmer :))

Very friendly owners on beautiful land! A good place to camp with a toilet and a shower. My one caution is that if it rains you won’t be able to make it down the dirt road to get to their land without four wheel drive. If I wouldn’t have been in a Jeep, I would have been VERY stuck.

This was most definitely "Glamping" for my friend and me (both in our mid-60s)! From the "sailor's delight" decor, to the numerous extra amenities. Much of what I brought was provided - plates, cups, bowls, utensils, flashlights, games (outdoor and card games), and so much more. The sunsets, sunrises and dark sky viewing were exceptional. The location to the Grand Canyon was a bonus on top of all the camp site bonuses!
Dan and Daniel were considerate in checking in with us the day were arriving as well as to learn if all was as expected. They responded VERY promptly to questions we had.
We'd return in a heart-beat if the opportunity should arise, again! How many of us can say we slept on a yacht, in an ancient ocean, near the Grand Canyon, under a dark sky"!

Everything about the land yacht was exceptional!! The attention to detail as well as the cleanliness of the boat and property was amazing! So clean and the bathhouse was so cute. Probably the best outdoor bathroom situation that I have ever used! Property was extremely well maintained and we had fun with the toys and activities they provided. The ONLY thing is that the bed is kind sized but oddly shaped so if you are very tall with two people (like us) it is a bit of a squeeze. But we still slept just fine! Would come back to visit again!

Loved camping here, it was a creative camping experience, my wife especially loved to bathroom and shower!
They were super hospitable to us, going above and beyond. Super convenient to Grand Canyon.
The area was also fenced in, which was great since we had 2 dogs (and 2 kids).

The Dan did a wonderful job with this place; all the attention to detail is superb, from the solar lights to the sage in the bathroom to the fire starter and the little box of goodies! We are so appreciative. We had such a late start from Las Vegas that it was pitch dark when we arrived (yet so easy to find with their detailed instructions!) that we didn't see the wonderful view until morning. The sunrise was one of the best I've seen. The outdoor shower was great. I appreciate the yummy snacks and "convenience items" that made the stay so easy. Dan and Daniel are both super cool dudes.

The Grand Canyon Land Yacht was so much better than I expected, I already want to go back. The Dans are great hosts, sent detailed instructions how how to find the property. There is solar electricity, fans, a heater, chargers for your devices, snacks, water. If you forget anything there is also a store and restaurant less than 4 miles away. The bed was comfortable, I'm almost 6 feet tall and slept well. There was a beautiful sunset and a sky full of stars. Loved the decorations on the property, it is setup great. There is a nice common area with a grill, picnic table, and the restrooms/shower. the paths to the restroom have solar lights that come on at night making it easy to find your way. With the Grand Canyon only 30 mins away we headed up there after a peaceful night sleep.

I had a great stay here. The Dans are very helpful and sent detailed instructions on how to find the location. Tent sites have a wall to help block wind and give some privacy. There was even a box at the site with items you may need, a hammer, extra tent stakes. The ground was very easy to get the tent stakes down. It was very peaceful at night and we enjoyed gazing at the stars, which you could see a lot of. Shower/Bathroom area was very cool.

This place was amazing! I booked the land hatch last min to try and avoid getting stuck in the rain. It was super comfortable and really unique. My dog was able to climb up and down the stairs no problem and loved having free reign of the area.

We stayed at Gopher It Acres once before and had a terrific time so had planned on a return visit when I saw that they had added a new camping experience so opted to try it out. Best decision ever! As always, all accommodations were immaculate, complete and well stocked. The cabin cruiser was so adorable and extremely comfortable!!! Plenty of room for two even though we also had our own camper along as always. Thank you for the welcome treats and gift for our dog too! So thoughtful in EVERY way, from the private lit deck and games to the sound machine! FYI, I loved the ocean and sea gulls the best, lol! I can't wait to see what else you have planned as it looks like you have such wonderful imagination and thought to details. Thank you Dans for another wonderful stay and taking such good care of us once again!! We will definitely be returning; this is our very favorite get away. Oh, fyi- I'm getting better at the cornhole now too. lol
