Connan and his family were so welcoming, and their property was absolutely beautiful. The goats were so cute! Be sure you have good tires - it was a little difficult getting out on the dirt roads after a night of rain.

Loved it!
The pebble pad was comfy for a tent, Connan was super nice, lots of water available, good cell service for Verizon and AT&T, goats were fun to visit and pet, beautiful open field with great sunset.

Our time at this camp was hands down fantastic. Connan and his family seem to be living life to the fullest and are a pleasure to be around. Our first time here and everybody in our group knows we are coming back to this exact place, no question about it. PLUS there are lovely goats you get to visit if you’d like! Excited for our next visit 👍

We were in a pinch because I usually stay in the National forest outside the GCNP but this time with the high fire risk and the National forest closed, this spot was perfect!

The owner Canaan medicine as we drove up, the site was as described. Quiet with a star filled sky. No amenities but Canaan invited us to use their outdoor toilet and had fresh water available for us when we arrived.We really enjoyed our stay.

I loved staying at Plateau Chateau. Conan was very nice and hospitable. We had a beautiful sunset. Be sure to pet the goats. Totally recommend.

Out of all the places we camped on our way from Seattle to Grand Canyon NP this was my favorite. It was close enough to the main roads but felt far enough away for some quiet. We had beautiful night weather so we were able to sleep with the tent fly off and see the stars. Connan was super friendly and answered questions quickly. The property was basic but clean and his bus/finca is close by but enough space for privacy. A visit from his sweet dog Moose was an added bonus.

We enjoyed our stay! Our puppy LOVED all the open space, just be mindful of the almost constant wind. Connan was very nice and helpful!

Easy to get to, beautiful sunset, and far away from the city lights to see some great stars at night. Connan was a really nice host and is living the dream out there on property.

Connan has a great parcel of land just a short drive from the 180. Super easy to find and easily accessible by any type of car. Amenities are basic, an outhouse and potable water, but for the price very much worth it. Especially considering how beautiful the sky is once the sun goes down. It's absolutely stunning how many stars you can see. And to top it all off Connan was a fantastic host with may stories of his time on the road.
