Experience Interior Alaska, Yukon Koyukuk area. Rural and mostly wooded location with Spruce and Cottonwood. Space for one RV up to 26' and a tent. Outhouse on premise and enjoy sitting around fire ring. We are 10 miles north of Nenana, 40 miles south of Fairbanks on Georges Parks Highway, 100 miles north of Denali National Park, 300 miles from Matanuska Valley, 10 miles to boat launch from the famous Nenana River (Home of the Nenana Ice Classic), and the Tanana River. Near Toghotthele mountains with hiking trails. Nenana is a former railroad construction camp and it is where the Golden Spike was placed by President Warren Harding to commemorate the completion of the Alaska Railroad. Dogs allowed on leash. Self contained RV's. No hookups, no dumping, untreated well water. Your hosts Ricki and Charley welcome you to come and enjoy this rural setting.Site sits beautifully on a gravel pad surrounded by Spruce and Cottonwood trees, outhouse, fire pit, and picnic table. Great spot with some great hosts!

Great little spot for some camping, away from some of the busier campgrounds. Having Nenana and Fairbanks a drive away made for some great touring and hiking. The latrine is clean and well-built, with tp and wipes provided. The hosts, Ricki and Charlie were so sweet and really accommodating, especially with helping to set up the fire pit.
