SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS *NOTE: The sleeping areas are open, there are no separate bedroom spaces. Please see photo of the camper layout of this 2020 Forest River Shasta 18BH *Sleeps up to 4 guests (2 adults max without prior host agreement) *1 RV-size (short) Queen bed *2 twin bunk beds (250 lb weight limit for the bunk bed) CAMPER AMENITIES *Kitchenette with microwave, gas stove, fridge (no oven) *Bathroom with RV toilet, shower (shower height is 70 inches) *Small TV with Roku (stream your own subscriptions) *Fast Wi-Fi *Air conditioning and heating OUTDOOR FEATURES *Private dock *Floating lake pad *Two kayaks with life jackets *Firepit (bring your own firewood) *Deck adjoining the camper with picnic table *Charcoal grill (bring your own charcoal and lighter) *Gated circular gravel driveway for added security PET POLICY *Dog-friendly for up to 2 house-trained, well-behaved dogs *Dogs must not be left unattended in camper. They do not have a view inside the camper or on the lake/dock *Floating lake mat (available seasonally) *The camper is equipped with hookups for power, water, and septic. The shower has a height limit of 70 inches. Guests will be provided with instructions on using the camper including how to empty the black and gray water tanks. Guests may enjoy the private dock, lake mat (available seasonally(, and two kayaks available for guest use. The circular gravel driveway is gated. The site has a slope down to the lake with steps down. Please note that a neighboring friendly dog and cat may come say hello during your visit. There is wildlife in the area. Lake Lahusage is a 29 acre lake formed on the Little River when a dam was built in the 1920s. The "Broken Dam" is a beautiful site down river. The property is near the beloved town of Mentone, known as the "Summer Camp Capitol of the World". Mentone's attractions and restaurants are often mentioned in Southern Living Magazine and other publications. The area is surrounded by natural beauty, scenic vistas, brow views and mountain crafts and art. Desoto State Park, Desoto Falls, Little River Canyon are all nearby in NE Alabama. Cloudland State Park, James H 'Sloppy' Floyd State Park, McLemore Golf Club, and Lookout Mountain Flight Park are all within driving distance in Georgia. Lakefront Getaway in Shasta Camper

We had a fabulous time at Betsy and Jon’s place! Down to how the lights were set up on arrival they made sure everything was ready. The little town is wonderful, would take you about a week to really get into everything there is to do. The camper and instructions are very easy. Recommend The Hatter cafe for breakfast, Mentone market for lunch, and bama boys for dinner. (Little further drive) the property was beautiful and wonderful quiet road for walking. Nature everywhere! Hippie hole, is excellent!
