Description

Only seriously in-the-know campers will be privy to the small Reservoir Lake Campground in the Salmon-Challis National Forest. This primitive campground is for the rough-n-ready amongst us, who don’t mind bringing their own water, and will pack out their trash like a champ. Truly dogged hikers will want to tackle the steep trail through the peaks of the Bitterroot Range (trailhead leaves from the campground), and will reward themselves afterwards with a rest at the calming Hawley Creek, also adjacent to the campground.
