Over the years we've hosted musicians, artists, and writers who come here to have a tranquil setting. Those folks always loved our property and encouraged us to share our beautiful farm with others.

We live in a great small town, in coastal GA, on a lovely 75-acre farm (You cannot see a neighbor for 1/4 mile) with woods, pond with dock, historic cabin, walking trails, peace & quiet, wildlife, very close proximity trail bicycling, excellent road bicycling (our town hosts one of the largest best bike events in the southeast.)  We have a mild winter climate with most winter days breezy but sunny. Spring and fall are sublime. August is just dang hot except in deep shade.

We're 13 miles off I-16.

Claxton, Ga, our hometown, is a pretty, friendly town with 2 grocery stores, hardware stores, adult beverage stores, propane exchanges, restaurants, and the town is easily navigable.

15 minutes from Statesboro, Ga.

54 miles from downtown Savannah.

1.5 hours to Hilton Head, SC.

1 hour to The Golden Isles (Jekyll, St. Simons, Sea Islands).

6 miles to the nearest large grocery store.

We're 1/4 mile on a hard-packed, well-maintained county dirt road.                         (We pull our 5th wheeler RV on the road a great deal.)

We can accommodate very large rigs also with plenty of space to turn, maneuver, and park.

Woodland Vibe is a 50, amp, full hookup, back in spot with plenty of space for backing. It will accommodate up to a 65 foot RV and rig with slides.

Bliss Water View is a pull-through. It's 30 or 50 amp, water, sewer. Works well for  RV rigs up to 34 feet with slides. The site is by itself and 150 yards from Wood Vibe.

Although we live on the property, we like to maintain our privacy as well as give you plenty of privacy too. Our house is tucked on one side of the farm out of the way.

No nudists.

Dock has some high places so you must watch your young children.

Well-behaved pets welcome on a leash.

Tiny homes are welcome too!

Our time at Bliss Hill Farm was our family of five’s first time camping, and it was amazing! The property is both pristine and beautiful, and it’s obvious that Mike and Karen work very hard to keep it that way. My sons loved the treehouse/ obstacle course, kayaking, and feeding the fish. I enjoyed several runs around the property. We were a good distance from other campers and heard no noise from neighbors, but everyone was very friendly. Since it was our first time camping, Mike and Karen checked on us several times, but never in a way that was invasive or inconvenient. We highly recommend Bliss Hill and have nothing negative to say about it!

We had a last minute overnight stay here due to RV problems…and it definitely helped with the stress! The road to the farm is a bit narrow, but once you get there it is gorgeous! The pad was level, water and electric were easy and the view was amazing. I wished we could have stayed another day to enjoy the treehouse and spend some time sitting on the dock. Our cats had a fantastic time bird watching!

Bliss Hills was awesome! We tent camped in the shade near the pond and cooked over a fire in the fire pit. Mike and Karen were so nice, and gave us a tour of the amazing 1870’s cabin. The kids got a kick out of feeding the fish and climbing around the tree loft.

What a wonderful first time Hipcamp experience! We’re new to RV camping, and Karen and Mike were great! We had a few hiccups as expected, and they jumped right in to help us out with whatever we needed. Our two dogs were in 7th heaven! Our 3 children loved feeding the catfish and catching frogs. It was a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the outdoors. Bring a fan if you have one because it helps a lot with the bugs.

Yes, we're in full spring swing here in south GA and the bugs and birds are so active. They will settle down around the middle of June. We enjoyed hosting y'all and are always glad to help new RVers with questions and issues.

Bliss Hill is such a peaceful camp. Currently two campers and a historic Air B & B cabin rim a small country pond stocked full of catfish. Relax on the dock and feed the fish. Climb up the stairs to the elevated deck to relax and catch a birds-eye view of the camp. Rinse off in the shower or soak in the claw-footed tub in the adorable outdoor shower shed. Row across the pond for a closer look at the catfish in the provided canoe or kayak. Relax and share in friendly conversation around the campfire in the firepit. Stroll around the pond to try to catch sight of their elusive otter, who is rumored to have a baby with her. So many ways to relax!! I chose the swing by the campfire as the perfect location to try to read my book. Too bad it is below the "gnat line". If the sun is fully up you will have to take cover inside your camper if unaccustomed to gnats. The personable host and hostess can solve just about any other problem you may have, just ask! Before "gnat time" I hung out and chatted with her for almost an hour! She gave me a hilarious sign to hang in my trailer and some backsplash to use when I tackle the camper kitchen upgrade we discussed in my favorite swing in the firepit. She gave me a camomile tea bag when I purchased some turmeric tea to make at home. As a successful turmeric farmer, she loves to spread her love for the plant by tenderly wrapping a shoot for you to take home to grow! It was hard to leave..... it was sure named correctly!!

Turning off the red, dirt road and into the beautiful field where we set up camp, I knew we chose the right spot! Our dogs played fetch, we went for long walks, and we peacefully sat in each others company. Food tasted better and laughter was louder… we will definitely be back and are grateful for having the opportunity to get to know our hosts.

We absolutely loved our extended stay of almost a month at Mike and Karen’s home. They are amazing people living a full life and we learned so much and had a unique experience on their farm roadschooling and enjoying being outside and exploring daily. It has been wonderful seeing such gracious hosts. We didn’t want to leave, and know we will be back when we come through Georgia. There’s a lot of things for families to do in the area and about 20min away. The University has offerings and there’s fun places to hike and explore. Parks and a water park are the same distance with restaurants from town and outward. We enjoyed many relaxing days at camp and it was the most healing and peaceful space. I took work calls down by the pond which was wonderful. If you desire Wi-Fi, you’ll need your own. Limited service for Verizon but good for ATT if you need that. We did have to go to town to use our computer for work/next plans. But we’ll worth it to unplug :). They are building a children’s play area as well. We’ll be back to experience that! Great for full timers, families and anyone really! You’ll love your stay! They also have an Airbnb cabin which is cool and cozy.
Enjoy your stay!

Loved bring at Bliss Hills Farm! Karen and Mike are two of the most genuine, down to earth, wonderful people we've met along our journey! Situated about an hour from Savanah, their spot is a breath of fresh air- we enjoyed the hospitality, greenery, paddling in kayaks around the pond, taking walks, playing corn hole, engaging in conversations and meeting interesting fellow campers! I got to see fireflies for the very first time in the forest, as we chatted around the fire pit one night! This has been our very favorite experience with Hipcamp!! Highly recommend to anyone in the area looking for full hook ups, tranquility and fabulous hosts. Our dog enjoyed spending time with their sweet dog, Ava too. We will definitely be back! Happy days are followed by happy evenings at Bliss Hills Farm!
