Our stay was absolutely amazing! The landscape was really beautiful, surrounded by nature and animals. We felt really into the Wild ! Paul was a great host. We will definitely visit again !

Very clean area and mostly secluded. The dogs are great they stayed by the tent and patrolled the area for coyotes.

Fantastic place! Paul was super friendly and accommodating. Came and checked on us a couple times to see how we were doing. Brought us some quality firewood also. His dogs were very friendly and brought a sense of security. The fishing was great. My son really enjoyed catching bass and looking for wildlife. Campsite was big and right below a very large shade tree. There was a picnic table and fire ring also. Definitely bring a pair of boots if you're gonna fish or get down by the lake, the grass was tall and full of stickers. Nighttime was great. Quiet. No road noise. Coyotes howling in the distance. My son was amazed at how many stars we could see. Gorgeous. Nice to get away from the city for a night or two. Highly recommend.

Very friendly host. We did experience a lot of road noise because of the camping sights not too far from the highway.
Overall we enjoyed our camping here. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a fun overnight stay.

Nice peaceful campsite, a short bike ride off the Northeast Texas bike trail., firewood and kindling nice and dry and easy to get burning.
Host was easy to get ahold of despite our late arrival and was really nice.
We love dogs and having the farm dogs coming by to say hello we’re a nice perk!

Paul’s land was fantastic! Great views and tent spots. Paul is an exceptional host as well and will help you with anything you need. He was also very communicative prior to our arrival. Paul also had several dogs that were friendly and actually protected us from any potential coyotes during the night.

A nice, clean spot near a Texas pond and prairie. In our November stay, we were treated to a night sky full of stars, the intermittent serenade of coyotes, and a beautiful, early morning fog on the pond. The small amount of road noise nearby was not distracting and tapered off as the evening progressed. The firewood we purchased was fair in price and amount and the breakfast sausage added to our experience of the place. I caught and released a couple of sizable bass from the pond as well. And enjoyable stay all around.

The property was more beautiful than expected! Surrounded by open fields, very secluded with a huge pond to walk around. Paul is so friendly and sweet, we loved meeting him and his dogs. The farm he owns is right by the camping spot and fully running with a little store as well. Great experience.

Place was exactly what I expected. Well kept,nice n tranquil ,& Paul is exactly what you want in a host. Helpful ,but not bothersome. Spent the weekend with my daughter and it was great. Caught a few nice bass ,daughter even caught one all on her own. Coyotes in the background... I loved it. Place is exactly as advertised.

Had a wonderful time camping at Paul's! He was very nice and responsive. There was a fire ring, a pond (I caught a catfish!) and a herd of sheep! It was peaceful and worth the drive. Would recommend!

Site was great, and the available firewood was awesome, though I’m glad I brought some as it ended up raining right before we got there. Dogs are so sweet, land is pretty, got to see a bunch of stars.

Wow! My expectations were blown away. 😊 Not only is Paul the sweetest with his rose-colored glasses, but he has such a beautiful haven away from the city. There’s a lovely pond with jumping fish, great tree coverage while maintaining open space, fire pits, and a few good pups herding sheep all around you (they would love to meet you if you’re interested)! You can relax and simply enjoy the outdoors or go exploring! Get ready for some great star-gazing, too. 🥰 We’ll definitely be back!!

What a great little hidden gem! I showed up later than expected so I went to the shop by mistake, the first entrance on the left is where you go to meet Paul if not at the shop. The host is great and very nice. The place is hidden, quite and peaceful. Paul said the pond has fish in it to catch and eat, he also offered us firewood but we brought some. He was more than helpful and nice. I'll definitely be going back soon, not far from home but feels like it is, and very open and spacious.

Great spot to get away! Within an hour of Dallas, it was a quick restful night away. Paul, the host, was kind and helpful, even bringing a bucket to my site and filled it with water from the lake so I could put out my fire. I had a beautiful view if both sunrise and sunset. There is a nice fire pit at each spot and picnic tables at two spots. Three other campers were there, all with the same goal of being quiet and enjoying nature. The garden is great, and in spring you can pick strawberries!!

The place just kept filling up. Before we knew it, there were 6 tents in the site neighboring ours. If this place has 5 campsites, there we double that number of tents

I thought this site was great! Very peaceful location, safe and clean. We have 2 boys, they loved the fishing. We caught a ton of catfish, bass and bluegill. The coolest part where the coyotes howling at night. Even though it felt a little spooky, we were completely safe...
Paul was great! Very friendly and funny! Made us feel right at home.

Paul has a wonderful farm well suited to camping with kids. The compost outhouse is rustic and available. The fishing is fun, and there are some goats and roosters on the nearby property you can check out. We had a wonderful time and look forward to returning.

We stayed in the “woods” section as Paul referred to it as opposed to the pond area and we absolutely loved that area. We were only ones at the site and it was so quiet and peaceful. We heard so many animal sounds and 2 kids enjoyed exploring and fishing. Paul was an excellent host and made sure we had everything we needed and even showed the kids some crops and let them pick some and taste them! Dogs were adorable and Leonard town wasn’t far at all in case we needed anything at all! Would definitely recommend for a family or a couple or friend getaway at this farm.

Paul was very nice. There was a pile of branches near our site to use for campfires. Paul left and came back with a chainsaw to cut it down to smaller pieces. The site was easy to get in and out of and with only a few sites, five I think, it was very quiet and peaceful. My family and I really enjoyed our stay and definitely recommend it to others.
