This is a great campsite if you want to stay close to Mt. Hood. The tents are comfy and very warm (when you turn on the heater), the bed is great with clean sheets, there's electricity and light in the tent.
If you want a bed for two- ask in advance which tents have them.
The showers are hot and have heaters as well, and sauna on the creek is just the cherry on top! You have to try it! Jim the host wasn't on site but the kids he left in charge were super helpful and accommodating. Sydney even bought us ice for the free cooler each tent has.
Some stuff to point out:
- There are no drinking water, so you should have your own.
- There is also no faucet to wash your dishes if you cook, like we did, so we had to use one of the hook-up sites water to try and wash them.
- The site is right off the main road, so it's always loud, even at night, you can hear the trucks and cars driving by.
- The bathrooms were not cleaned while we were there, and we stayed there for three nights.
- There are some things that needed maintenance, like rust and mold in the bathrooms, the lights leading to and in the sauna.
But make no mistake- this place is great, we loved our stay and definitely recommend it!
