Incredible mountain views. The land is 1.25 acres of Zen and serenity. The property is vacant right now with just some desert plants. Great for a romantic getaway, yoga retreat, meditating, hiking in the right weather, and enjoying the mountains and sunsets. Great fun if you have a dirt bike or RV. It's very close to Willow Springs Raceway, the Feline Conservation Center, the local casino, and Edwards Airforce Base. About an hour and a half from LA City. Only 10 minutes from town if you need to get gas, try out a local eatery, or even go gambling.Pitch your tent or park your RV on flat desert terrain with desert fauna and beautiful mountains and sunrise and sunsets. This area is excellent for hiking (in the right weather), horseback riding, yoga, meditation, painting, and quiet, romantic getaways. Drive into town in 10 minutes for eateries, sports bars, gambling, or to meet the local folks. The closest neighbors are about a half mile away. Willow Springs lay west of Rosamond and was a watering hole for stagecoach travelers for generations; however, most of its springs have dried up; Willow Springs Raceway is nearby, which hosts various motor racing events that attract folks from Southern California and across the country. Outdoor recreational activities include horseback riding and water skiing (Lake Isabella, Lake Buena Vista, Lake Ming, and private ski ranches). Off-roading and other motorsports occur at Jawbone Canyon, California City, Randsburg, Willow Springs, Buttonwillow, Bakersfield Speedway, Famoso Raceway, and the half-mile Kern Raceway. Hunting, paintball, white-water rafting, kayaking (Kern River), snow skiing (Shirley Meadows and Mount Pinos), shooting ranges (5 Dogs Range), hiking, biking (trails, paths, and roads), camping, and fishing are also part of the recreational culture. Native Americans lived in this region for hundreds of years: Chumash, tribes grouped under the settler name Yokuts, and others.
