Shangri-La 14 Ft Grn. Yurt/Soak Tub
Fantastic and remote with ample space to play with dogs in beautiful surroundings. Great views of mountains, creek and waterfalls right by the yurt, and suuuuuper comfortable bed!!!
Road was rough but I knew that going up and was late getting there so arriving in the dark is always challenging, but woke up to such a wonderful experience. The store in town is awesome and has everything you could need to grill tasty food- lots of local stuff too. I got local pork chops and ham steak, ground beef and all so tasty. Also local sourdough was the best bread ever. Honey too.
Really excited to visit again and stay for a few more days now that I know what to expect!

Definitely Recommend!
We had a great time as a family of 4 + a dog at the Yurt! It was big enough for us to inflate a queen mattress near the existing bed. Nice and cozy. Make sure you either bring your own propane heater (we did!) or opt for the heater that they provide - it got cold in the night! Lovely sounds of the creek nearby and overall such a neat and simple set up. We didn't get to use the Tub this time around, but can imagine how nice it would be with the views around it! Note - there's no cell phone coverage / wifi, which was nice to be honest - we were all disconnected and spent time together as a family playing board games and walking around.

14ft Green Yurt
Lovely drive up to the location! We stayed one night in the green yurt. We loved exploring the land! We climbed down to the creek and enjoyed listening to the water flow down the rocks. The trees, ferns, mushrooms, and moss are all so beautiful. I had a nice soak in the tub in the early morning which was incredible. Will definitely have to stay at least 2 nights next time.

Cool but be prepared for cold
Cool experience but make sure you know what you're getting into, especially in colder seasons. We stayed in the green yurt and added the propane heater as recommended by others. The price is a bit high but I can't imagine not having it. That said, it was pretty finicky/old and randomly went out in the middle of the night, so the rest of the night was super cold and we weren't sure if there was enough gas to use it in the morning. We went in early January and woke up to beautiful morning snow which was very rewarding. Andrea was kind to check in on us to make sure we had AWD to get down.
The trek to the site is not that bad. I could see a basic car getting there just fine, but with snow it may make less experienced drivers uncomfortable. We visited Lake Pillsbury first so we went the opposite direction of driving directly to the site, so the sign was hard to see from the other direction. Bathroom facilities were impressive, though the signs for the trail to it could perhaps use an update. A nice added touch was a Jackery for charging things, which I don't think had been listed in the description.

We had such a sweet and peaceful time in the green yurt over new years! Didn't see another person the entire stay. The site is huge and beautiful and the yurt is close enough to the stream to hear the current. The yurt and hot tub are well maintained and the water got super hot for soaking. I'm so glad we opted in for the gas powered space heater, it kept us super warm and cozy.
Thanks Andrea! We'll definitely be coming back

We were looking for an isolated place to relax. This was the perfect location. Bathroom was very clean. Hot water for the tub was great!
