Located in remote Genesee valley. 15 miles from the small town of Taylorsville, Ca. This is a modern, newly constructed Yurt, off grid. Very private, quiet and comfortable.10 day minimum stay required due to HOA* .No cancellation fees after a 2 week stay.This Yurt is located on our foerested 4 acres, the main house is close, but the Yurt is private and quiet. We are in a small neighborhood, with mostly second part time owners, so quiet is a main feature. This is an off grid Yurt..that means your cell phone may or may not work ( but main house has cell connection for any important calls). And no wifi. This is a modern, comfortable Yurt (made by Pacific Yurt Co.), with a separate bathroom that has a shower, sink and a composting toilet. A small kitchen with sink, stove, and refrigerator. On demand hot water. 2 propane heaters . Furnished with one twin bed, and one sofa bed, dinning table, chairs, bookcase, etc Close by: across the street is a Creek with walking path. Antelope lake is 11 miles up the main road. A walking, biking dirt back road is 2 minutes away. Rent is $21/day with a 7 day minimum stay.... this place is more of a slow, quiet retreat area rather than a place with sooo much to do! If you just really need to unwind, this is the place. The nearest town is 11 miles and has a unique grocery store, a funky restaurant and a great locals bar. ! The next nearest town is 25 miles and has a good size grocery store, a gas station, thrift store and a health clinic. The main town of Quincy is 40 miles and has it all plus the hospital. No campfire, we are a firewise community. Extra pet fee of $25. Only one pet please. *Extra info: the High Sierra Music Festival is starting soon in Quincy!
