Established in 1974 by the Bell Family it had been Bell RV Park until our purchase of the park in 2017.  With new owners and new upgrades to the park we felt it fitting to rename the park after the creek that flows to the north of the property, hence Goose Creek RV Park & Campground. Nestled in the rolling hills of wheat country, Goose Creek RV Park takes pride in its 5 acres of mature trees and landscape patio sites and cozy cabin rentals. Located on the east side in the town of Wilbur and walking distance to shopping and eateries. Swimming, golfing and pickle ball courts are all just minutes away. Come relax and unwind you will experience quite starry nights and wildlife that roams the park. Other attractions for summertime fun are Lake Roosevelt and Grand Coulee Dam, hiking and kayaking ion and around other smaller lakes in the area! We're nestled in the pines, just off the highway. Our property is on a deeded piece of land within the Spokane Indian Reservation. We are 5 miles from Lake Roosevelt and the Fort Spokane boat launch. Lake Roosevelt is known for its excellent fishing, and is the only lake in Washington state that contains walleye! A small motel was built on this property back in 1998 and is consistently complemented on it's clean rooms and peaceful setting. Our RV camp is rustic & peaceful with only natural vegetation (no pads), and each spot provides FULL hookups. Be prepared to level your rig. We invite you to come and experience all that Eastern Washington has to offer! Park your rig, set up your table and BBQ, and just relax. Weekend Trip to Peterson Lake Ranch

Hauntingly serene and remote location in the basalt columned scablands of Eastern Washington on the unrestored portion of a family ranch in the Crab Creek bottoms. Interesting historic barns and structures with cool vintage retired machinery. It’s a new HipCamp and will likely get some improvements, like signage and some tidying of the immediate grounds and perhaps more detail in the listing. There’s only one hookup spot, so if it’s taken, you’ll be dry camping. But the host was amenable to getting some distance from the other guest while I was there. The price is very reasonable. The region has so few camping opportunities, I’m grateful they opened up this gem. BNSF trains run by a couple times an hour 200 yards away, but no crossings for miles, so no whistles.

1 night at Goose Creek RV Park & Cabin Rentals

This is one of the rare places that is BETTER than the pictures! More like a nice hotel suite with a kitchen. Comfy extra wide bunks for my two teenagers and a private bedroom for us. So many thoughtful little touches—cool lamps, toiletries, and you don’t have to go outside for the immaculate bathroom. It’s in an RV/bunkhouse resort, so you walk or drive a bit to recreation. We were there to see the Grand Coulee—spectacular free night light show at the Dam and the turbine tour in the morning. (Free.) I include the picture of the view from the back bedroom because, while it may not be everyone’s cup of tea, it’s very much mine. I was there to show my kids the immense scale of inland industrial infrastructure. There were decoupling trains in the early morning and my 17 year old and I watched the engines—and the deer—and talked about what it took to build American civilization, from the silos to the trains to the dams. It turned philosophical. Absolutely loved it and will be back.

We were super happy to have found Native Pines! We had been boondocking our way through Washington but, when temps approached 100F, we decided we needed some A/C and a breather. While all the sites are 30amp only, it was still sufficient for keeping our big rig cool enough, and we were happy to have sewer to be able to do some laundry. The sites are nestled into a pocket in the woods behind (but out of site of) a motel. Our 44' fifth wheel had plenty of room to maneuver within the property as well as fit into one of the back-in sites. It was peaceful and within a 7 minute drive to a beautiful, riverfront park (Roosevelt National Rec Area on the Columbia River) where we did some paddleboarding. And, you can't beat the rate of $35! Thank you John and Michelle!

We camped at Native Pines for two nights over the 4th of July, and even then it was peaceful and quiet. We prefer to stay in campgrounds with few sites for that very reason. All the camp sites, arranged in a circle, were visible to us, but many of the other guests were gone during the day, returning in the evening. We had a great time there.
