Malaney Creek Farm

MCF is situated 12 minutes NE of Shelton Washington with secluded wetlands nested against the SW shores of Spencer Lake. Covering over 124 acres MCF offers terrain from grassy fields to heavily wooded forests and an abundance of sanctuary wetlands.  Being surrounded mostly by private timberlands expands the remote feeling this location has to offer. More than 3 miles of  maintained trails deliver single track/ pedestrian/equine pathways to wider trails joined by a main trunk trail large enough for vehicles.
Malaney Creek meanders through a cool grassy tree lined meadow where a 40 year old wooden bridge serving the main driveway can be viewed. 
Established in 1977 as a resident farm, MCF was once rich with an old growth ceder forest feeding a cedar mill and railroad built by early settlers of Mason County. Remnants of the old growth giants still remain.

Tahuya Adventure Resort

3 sisters and our brother in law decided we wanted to make a place where people can enjoy the Northwest that we grew up in.  It doesn't matter if you bring your own tent, drive an rv, or rent the luxury tent, the great outdoors is there for all to enjoy!

We have great places to pitch your own tent and enjoy the rustic pleasures just being outdoors. The sites are rustic and access to trails are nearby. We also have a wonderful covered outdoor kitchen with propane grill, microwave, and coffee pot. A safe place to gather with family.

Bring your RV and park and have a large site to yourself. You have room to spread out your awning without hitting the next vehicle. Each site has its own picnic table and fire ring. Also if you are in the mood you have a covered kitchen to meet and mingle with other guests. We also have a big screen tv in the kitchen so you don't miss the Seahawks games.

Drive in and enjoy a lovely view of unspoiled woods from the deck of your canvas tent. Enter the door into a spacious area with a king or queen
 size bed and small kitchen area. Each tent has its own heat source for your comfort. Each tent has its
table right outside on the deck but it you are feeling social come enjoy our outdoor kitchen.  We are open year round and It is different every season

Our guests love staying here "This site has absolutely everything you need. You'll want to bring your own shampoo and conditioner, but I think that was the only things I noticed I'd want. They even had firewood for us, no extra charge! David, his wife, and everyone else that helps maintain the property were SO sweet and welcoming. Seems like it would be a lovely place to stay in the winter, so thats when I'd like to come back! 5 stars all the way for everything here, the thoughtfulness of the cabins, the cleanliness, the readily available kitchen and the hospitality. You NEED to check this place out."

Trails End Canal🌿

Mobile home which sleeps 4 comfortably, 1 bd., full shower, kitchen, dining area. Beautiful secluded land, surrounded by 100 ft Pine trees, plenty of shade with private access to Trails End Canal which leads beautiful Serene Trails End Lake, Great swimming, fishing and kayaking (no gas boats allowed) also Mason Lake is 5 mins. away which allows all motorized vehicles ,also 5 mins. away from Hood Canal (warmest saltwater body in Pacific Northwest) 15 mins. away from Twanoh State Beach Park, plenty of parking spaces, tent spaces available

The Happy Horse Farm

Property is a 5-acre gated horse farm surrounded by wooded military property on 3 sides.

Conveniently located 15-20 minutes from Tacoma and Olympia.

Just 5 mins to Starbucks/coffee and grocery stores but far enough away from the city so it feels more secluded.  

American Lake and Spanaway Lake (and their parks with playgrounds) for swimming and paddle boarding are both just 5 mins away! 

The owner lives on site, as well as several horses, chickens, and a dog.  

Large stone fire pit with chairs near house is available for camper use. 

Pending: Paddle board rental and bicycles for use on property or trails! 

Set-up your tent anywhere within the horse paddocks - there are no specific sites, although there is a small fire pit and rustic bench seating at far back corner of property.  

Tents can be outside of horse areas as well, if preferred. 

RV dry camping anywhere within or outside horse areas.

For RVs needing dedicated electrical/water hookup, there are specific sites closer to the house. 

***If you are travelling with more than one vehicle, please purchase an car extra parking spot.***

Only four 30amp RV spots are available and are most easily accessible for Rvs under 30'. Standard 110volt outlets can also be available for RV use. 

Woodbrook Hunt Club, the oldest fox hunting club west of the Mississippi, is a neighbor so lots of horseback riding goes on in the neighborhood. (Dragged scent only, no live foxes are harmed.)

Private horseback riding lessons or guided trail rides available by reservation only, subject to weather and owner availability.  

Use of military trails adjacent to property for hiking and bike riding subject to open land usage and permitting by military base.

One tent set-up option is in the back southeast corner of the far pasture.

The other tent set-up option is in the goat pasture, but the occupants here are much more curious. 

You can also camp in this pasture, occupied by a horse, two friendly goats and a dog.

Curious and friendly, but paid little attention to our tent in the back corner of the large pasture.

Camping on a Flower Farm

Courter Country Farm is located on 20 private acres. You will love the adorable small farm animals, fresh eggs and produce. Your site is on Barker Creek and  ideal for someone wanting to relax, a family getaway or for a little country romance. Your tent is up with camping pads and chairs waiting, just bring your sleeping bags and pillows. Don’t forget the s’mores fixings. Firewood available for purchase when no burn ban in place. We are also open to the public from 10am - 3pm on Friday.

Courter Country Farm is just the place to unwind and enjoy nature.
