Out in the middle of the wheat fields and a nice original Old farm Mongolian yurt on a platform from location different things to do only half an hour away the land has been used for a wedding venue and has lots of trees on it. This property is a great camp for enjoying everything that Eastern Washington outdoors has to offer. The Columbia river is in the valley below which provides fishing and watersports. The property is adjacent to thousands of acres of State and federal land which are free to explore. Winter tends to bring significant snowfall which makes this a great destination for winter sports as well. The property sits on top of a mountain plateau known as Harmony Heights. The site is about a 20 minute drive to Brewster or Pateros and about 40 minutes to Lake Chelan.  This is an fairly large site and will accommodate two RV's as well as plenty of area for tent camping. There is plenty of good spots to play with dogs without any conflicts. Despite the existence of year round residences and cabins this area is still very wild so you have a chance of an encounter with any critter that is native to the forests and prairies of North Central Washington. This includes but is not limited to the occasional bull snake, rattle snake, badger, black bear, mule deer, whitetail deer, moose, coyote, wolf, mountain lion, bobcat, as well as all kinds of birds including blue birds, hawks, owls, turkey, chukar, ravens, Hungarian partridge, quail, and forest grouse. Bring a field guide you will be happy you did.

Cheval Cellars BnB Camping

Captivating views of the Lake Chelan valley and mountains. We have a few choice sites on our working orchard and vineyard for discerning quiet campers to enjoy. On-property bike/hike trail, bike rentals, opportunity to tour our small European- style winery/barrel cellar for cider and wine tastings.  At our mile-long 100 acre property camp sites vary from secluded walk-in/4WD tent only, to convenient shaded trailer pull-offs to sunny field campsites.  There are five site choices for a total of four sites at any one time.

All are spacious compared to most alternatives; most have great views of lakes and mountains.

 We offer tent camping on-site and group sites as well. We have a small area, but most of it is shaded and right by the river.

Come camp near the river at a fully-functional whitewater river rafting basecamp!!  Our group-style camping area is great for small groups of people or small, two-somes too. We have a total of 4 spots,; 1 is suitable for 2 large, or 3 small tents, 2 are suitable for 2-averags-sized tents, and one is a small tent spot only.  Camp spots are next to each other, so not alot of "Wild forest-camping" here.  We refer to it as urban camping. Please be aware that there is some traffic noise here, as we are close to Highway 2.   Weekend camping is limited, and you may hear the occasional train whistle.  WiFi and fire pit included as well as on-site port-a-potties.  There is a large communal firepit, but no individual camp firepits, with the option of bringing a propane stand-alone firepit.  Small fires only in June, fire ban starting July 1st due to wildfire concerns.  No smoking and children are OK as long as they are kept under control.  In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, we are spacing camps out more, we have a foot-operated handwash station, and 2 hand sanitizing stations.  Per the CDC, we are unable to offer any potable water to anyone this year.  Our camping area is somewhat small, does NOT have grass, but area has bark.  Please be ready to be respectful of our neighbors and other campers by keeping your music to a low-to-medium volume.  Please bring photo ID and a credit card to complete our camper registration form with.  In addition, we are a river rafting company, so we may not have anyone present when you show up - don't worry, we are probably on the river and will be back soon!

Huge fire pit and plenty of wood! We loved not having to bring firewood camping this time.

Spot #1 is suitable for 3 small tents of 2 large tents.  This spot is right next to the hammocks.

Spot #2a is combined with spot 2b and can fit 2 large tents or 3 small tents.  Spots are divided by a tree in between the spots and are distanced from spot #1 by a picnic table

The Lakes

We purchased this 60+ acre property in 2004 as an apple orchard. We still maintain 12 acres of the orchard and replaced the rest with grape vines several years ago.

This peaceful location with surrounding mountains, lakes and nature will make you want to call it home. Whether you are planning on spending your time relaxing, wine tasting, hiking, fishing, hunting or a little bit of everything this camp site is just minutes from it all.
