Come see Lake Shaftsbury State Park! This 200 year old farm is at the top of a dead end road on 150 acres. It sits in a region of Bennington County formerly called Healing Springs Vermont. The springs that flow off of West Mountain come down through the farm and across Route 7 where they feed the picturesque state park!

Arrive at our 150 acre property at the top of this dead-end road.. (Please stay left all the way up to the top...the road becomes our driveway).. Step out onto this 200-year-old farm at your own private site all of which are several acres each minimum.. Walk to streams ponds and Lake Shaftsbury State Park.

Tiny Cabin Glamping & Hot Tub

Enjoy an unforgettable glamping stay in our handmade open-air tiny cabin, tucked into a forested grove on Vermont's Tanglebloom Flower Farm. Comfortably immersed in nature, it's camping, elevated. Perfect for a couples getaway and solo self-care retreats.

The sleeping cabin is glamping at its best - cozy and minimalist (10'x10') with screened 'walls' that let in the breeze (and keep out the bugs). A transparent roof gives treehouse vibes and is perfect for stargazing and firefly spotting. Relax on the covered porch with a morning coffee, sunset wine, or a good book in between. A cozy full-size bed with seasonal linens awaits you. 

Enjoy the OUTDOOR KITCHEN with WIFI access, small fridge, running hot water (during frost-free weather approx May - late Sept), and propane single-burner cooktop. You can also bring no-cook picnic fare or enjoy outstanding local eateries from a 5-20 minute drive away.

Be bear aware: Guests should remove food, coolers, trash, and scented non-food items (ie. toiletries) from the cabin area while out for the day and before going to bed. Store these items properly inside the outdoor kitchen (instructions & receptacles provided) or your vehicle. Thanks for helping us keep wildlife safe and your visit enjoyable.

Misty Mountain Farm

 Visitor's have the oppertunity to milk goats, a cow, hike, swim or just relax by the fire. We are 30 min from Stratton mountain and Mt Snow. A short 5 min drive to a great river swimming hole, and ten min to Townshend State forest, dam, and beach.Learn more about this land:Misty Mountain Farm is a family farm raising animals humanely. We are not a campground and are best set up for tents and small campers. The site is large  with a 12x12 deck,  hammock, and firepit.  We have great views in a peaceful setting. There is a outhouse and a hot shower for guests. Fire wood is sold at the farm store but you are welcome to gather wood from the woods around the farm..

Greenbush Farm

History: Family hay farm, 82 acres, owned since 2004, back in the 1940's they had pigs, goats, horses. In 1970 it was used to train trotters. Come enjoy!We have 3 tent sites along the North Branch of the Black River on the perimeter of our 82 acre hay farm. Main house is a five minute walk. There are countless fun activities within a 20 mile radius:- Ascutney Trails for hiking and mountain biking- Okemo Adventure Zone 12 miles away- Harpoon Brewery and CT River for canoeing and tubing 11 miles away- Live music and awesome food available in the Upper CT River Valley- Shopping in Woodstock. The recreational possibilities are endless. We can't wait for you to come and stay!

Forest Echo Cabins

Rustic and Comfortable Cabins. No power lines cross our property. We have no blaring screens to distract us from the sound of the wind in the leaves or to call us back to the whirl of modern life. But that does not mean we are without any comforts.

Each cabin has a fully equipped kitchen, hot and cold running spring water, indoor bathroom, and overhead LP gas lamps. Nestled in the forest at meadow's edge, Cold Spring Cabin has an outdoor shower and indoor tub. Perched on a hill near the Farm Pond, Ripley Hill Cabin has an indoor shower and tub.

The cabins are rustic, but clean and airy. The luxuries at Forest Echo Farm are not inside the cabins; they are found in the light that fills the forest in late afternoon, the silence of an evening canoe and the moonlit sparkle of dewdrops at midnight. Forest Echo Farm includes 360 acres, extensive shore to a 26-acre protected pond, numerous trails, and half a mountain.

The Farm Pond offers a refreshing ‘dip’ to cool off. A hike from each cabin leads to Tiny Pond, an unspoiled lake where canoe, kayak and raft are available for shared use. Hiking trails are on the property. In addition to local trails, the Long Trail and Appalachian Trail are nearby.

The surrounding area is chock full of restaurants, antique stores, country stores, bakeries, farm stands, farmers markets, general shopping, historic sites, hiking, swimming holes and scenic drives.

Forest Echo Farm is owned by a cooperative group of families and individuals who are committed to the values of simple living and the preservation of our environment. Forest Echo cabins offer a relaxing retreat where you can unplug and reconnect.

The Forest Echo Farm community is dedicated to preserving our land, maintaining a balance between our human presence and the natural character of the forest, lakes, and mountains. Through the Vermont Land Trust, we have set aside 80% of our land to ensure that it will never be developed.
