Seven Acres Campground

We moved to our seven acres in 1999 and have spent 15 years building the campground and furnishing the cabins with antiques specific to the era they are named after. It’s like getting to spend the night in your favorite part of a museum! The Fireman’s Bunker, WWII Room and the Victorian Room along with a claw foot rub to soak in!

We love to make thing like home for our guests!

There are modern conveniences like t.v. and air conditioning/heaters with a fridge too

This is the Laundry Room with washer and dryer, Keurig for coffee and tea (with a wide range of choices), a microwave and mugs and "go" cups. Hopefully everything you need!!

The Shower House is just a few feet away from all of the cabins with loads of towels, shampoo and soap along with bath salts and loads of other stuff you might not load up for your trip.

There is an "Occupied" sign you can stand up outside when you are using the facility.

The Pine View - Sleeps 4 in the Queen Master & a queen bed in the loft.

Sandy Ridge Camping

We're happy that we can open up our land for campers. Before booking please read the following information and site descriptions. We operate a pecan tree nursery and Pecan Orchard. On the south side of the farmhouse is a 80-year-old huge pecan tree. You can enjoy wooded walking paths in the 90-acre forest and pastures, ponds and wildlife, including deer, wild hogs, hawks, owls, roadrunners, doves, cardinals, jays, woodpeckers, mockingbirds, and many other species of birds. Small mammals such as armadillos, rabbits, and squirrels are often seen, and the property is also awesome for stargazing. Please watch out for snakes, scorpions, pesky mosquitoes and ticks. This land has been a huge blessing to us and we hope you will enjoy your stay here. Arrival time should be no later than 9pm. Please inquire before booking if your arrival time might be later. Site #1: This is a big area and has room for several tents and vehicles. The ground can be a bit rough from chopped up bark and uneven ground. 

Outhouse is located near the farmhouse and in walking distance of camp sites; there is also a utility sink with non-potable water.

Home-made picnic tables sprinkled throughout the pine forest for use of anyone staying on the property. That building in the background is the community kitchen/hangout area.

This property was farmed by the Tawakoni Indians hundreds of years ago.We purchased this land as a place to retire,since we have always been entrepreneurs we decided to grow watermelons and this next year we are venturing to do also vegetables. We also donate many many pounds to homeless and orphanages.
