3 nights at Uncle B's Produce Farm

Uncle B’s is the perfect place to camp. We ended up staying in the Hippie Bus. Highly recommend this site. Brian is super friendly and accommodating. The hippie vibe is on point and the dark sky at night is amazing. He did a great job showing us around the property and acclimating us to all the amenities. He gave us hippie swag, a s’mores kit, and firewood. As if that weren’t enough, he even started our fire for us. If you have stumbled on this place, do not bother looking at anything else. This is where you need to stay. Thank you so much for a wonderful stay on our cross country adventure.

This was my first time solo camping trip out of state (I live in MN) and Uncle B's was absolutely wonderful! Not only was the five hour drive worth it - I did not take any major highways so I could admire the scenery- but I was nearly overwhelmed by the beauty of my campsite amongst the trees! I was able to pull my car up onto the grass at the edge of the site and had a beautiful view overlooking acres of corn, a small and lovely pond with ducks just a few steps away, and a gorgeous stand of cedar trees that shaded the tent or dappled it with sun, depending on the time of day. Brian greeted upon my arrival and was such a gracious host. I hopped aboard his cart and he drove me around the property, showing me the inside of the Hippy Bus (wasn't occupied until the following night) his garden area, and a large grass area where a train used to travel through. Throughout my three night visit, he was extremely attentive, answering any questions I had and gave prompt attention to anything I needed. We had strong storms two of the three nights, and he accommodated me when the zipper of the tent blew apart in the severe weather the first stormy night by putting me up in a camper for safety on the second stormy night. The tent sites in the woods are so beautiful, and although the severe weather was a bit anxiety provoking, I also felt somewhat protected being in the woods with those beautiful trees (that were thankfully shorter than the humongous cottonwoods scattered around the area0

Weekend Trip to River Road Campground Luverne

I stayed in the barn loft at Brian’s place and I thought it was charming…comfy bed, warm shower and fresh eggs for breakfast! Just what I needed. The only thing I would have changed was not being able to open the windows to let the breeze blow through. Brian was a wonderful, kind host and was very accommodating.

The blue cabin was adorable and cozy. The perfect spot to camp if you don’t have a RV or tent. The host is great and makes the experience easy.

We ended up not staying last-minute because the weather was so hot, but Brian was lovely to communicate with.

I stayed here as I was traveling back to Michigan from Western Montana and it was absolutely perfect. I booked my stay while I was on my drive after reading review after review after review glowing about the property, about their stays, and about Brian. All of it was true! The place is very sweet; a lovely farm with a small number of animals and lots of plants!! The ease of having a tent already set up cannot be overstated and is easily worth the marginal additional cost. I was planning to car camp, so this was a preferred alternative that required little to no effort on my end. Exactly what I needed after a long day of driving! Brian is lovely and very kind. The fire had kindling and needles to start it very easily, and wood already set out. When I arrived he brought me a small kit for s’mores which was incredibly sweet, and then later brought me a dozen farm fresh eggs as well. He sent me back with something like 12 plants (a variety of peppers and tomatoes) that are now thriving in my garden. He is incredibly generous and caring. I could not recommend staying here enough!!

Brian is a great host. He went above and beyond for us. We stayed on the Hippie Bus with our 4 year old. She loved the bus and had so much fun. Im going to recommend staying at Brian's for anyone traveling that way. Thanks again Brian!

I rented the hippy bus for myself and two granddaughters, ages 8 & 10. We had a blast, despite the rainy weather. Brian was a great host, meeting is, showing us around, and even starting our fire. It was a unique adventure the girls will remember forever!

3 nights at River Road Campground Luverne

Magical Stay at Uncle B’s – A Hidden Gem! We had such a great time at Uncle B’s! From the moment we arrived, Brian made us feel right at home. He greeted us with fresh eggs, a s’mores pack, and some fun hippy gear to get us in the spirit. He personally walked us over to the hippy bus and gave us a full tour, showing us everything we needed to know—from how to unlock the door to the fun variety of lighting options and the great music playing on a loop (which we ended up loving!). The bus itself was amazing—cozy, clean, and way more comfortable than we expected (honestly, the bed was more comfortable than the one I have at home!). There were speakers both inside and out, so we could enjoy music wherever we were relaxing. The property is peaceful and full of charm, with plenty of spots to explore. We loved the hidden fairy garden, the troll under the bridge, and all the friendly animals roaming around—dogs, kittens, peacocks, turkeys, chickens, guineas, and more! The bathroom and shower were clean and convenient—a great added touch that made the stay even more comfortable. We would absolutely recommend staying at Uncle B’s and hope to come back again soon. Thanks for such a unique and memorable experience, Brian!

I was in the blue cabin. It's private and wonderfully quiet. The walk to the bathroom wasn't a problem. I can recommend it.

This was my very 1st experience with HipCamp and I was blown away by Brian's farm property and the Hippie Bus! It was such a unique experience for my boys (2 yr old son + 8 year old doggo) and I. We loved the privacy of the property, the extras that were included and Brian's helpfulness as a host. Everyone we met there were completely great. It was fun to be able to let my dog (well behaved - not a runner) be able to enjoy off leash time in the grassy space. I highly recommend taking a journey back through time & staying on the hippie bus. Comfy bed, still camping but no mess or fuss with setting up a tent.

It was very nice and quiet. Very clean bathrooms and the best showers we’ve seen so far. Rooster, turkeys, chickens and peacocks, were on the place. Brian was very accommodating and great to talk to.

2 nights at Uncle B's Produce Farm

We loved staying in the Hippie Bus for a night - a really "cool" and unique accomodation in the middle of a farm! The queen size bed was very comfortable and the decor was all out hippie. Brian has done a great job fixing up the inside of the bus with lighting, music and a fun landscape mural across the windshield. The next two nights we "camped" out in the Barn Loft, out of the rain and wind. The loft is complete with queen size bed, TV, shower, fridge, stove, coffee maker and microwave. It truly is the barn loft, with a well used barn below. The chickens, turkeys and peacocks are entertaining to watch from the loft window. It was a very quiet and peaceful place to read and relax. And Brian left a dozen of farm fresh eggs for our breakfast! Brian is a great host. He checks up daily to see if anything is needed and very responsive. The sites are all mowed, the bathrooms, bus, and loft were clean, firewood and water is available. Each site has a fire pit. Uncle B's was a wonderful experience and a highlight of our summer travels! We plan to visit again soon!

It was great staying at Uncle B's farm. I was only there one night but it was a beautiful spot for that night. I was happy to have a tent ready for me so that I didn't have to set things up when I arrived. The land was peaceful and the host was wonderful. Would definitely stay again!

I had a lovely time staying in the Hippie Bus! The bed was super cozy, and the fun lights and great music made the atmosphere really special. Brian is an incredible, attentive host, he made sure I had everything I needed, including firewood, water, and even a little s’mores kit. One of the highlights was the amazing sunset view right from the bus. It was a unique and peaceful stay that I’d definitely recommend!
