Really well maintain camp area with the added bonus of the farm! The bath house was spotless. I booked the lamb cuddle and bottle feed time and it was the highlight of my week! Clair’s baked goods are really good too.

What a sweet place to visit! Already planning our next trip there. Lovely, family-friendly spot. Great trails to meander on their property. So fun to see the animals and experience farm life in a laid back, well-run campground. Your only regret will be having to leave.

Exceeded expectations! Really appreciated the super nice and clean bathrooms & showers, plus laundry room (which we didn’t use). The animals were all curious and friendly. Even tho all spots were full, it was very quiet and peaceful. Highly recommend!

We loved staying at Outside Inn & already can’t wait to come stay again. We stayed on our way to & from Florida. The campground was very clean & quiet. We loved meeting all the animals - Fred the highland cow is our favorite! He’s awesome. The fresh eggs in the morning were delicious & just such a nice treat. Clair is a lovely host & made sure we had what we needed. The bathrooms & shower house was spotless. The directions to the campground are very clear. This is the kind of place you almost don’t want to tell anyone about because you want to keep for yourself. Wonderful place. Can’t wait to come back.

We had a lovely adventure at Outside Inn camp. The onsite trailer gave us all the comforts of a hotel, but with the outdoorsy adventure of a campground. The little camper had all of the basics and was enough to accommodate all 5 of us quite comfortably. The farm animals and fresh eggs were a treat and my elementary schooler couldn't get enough time outdoors!

Your site backs up to the Edisto Beach State Park where there are miles of amazing hiking and biking trails running through the maritime forest, and while on the trails you can visit the State Park's Environmental Learning Center to take part in their incredible interactive exhibits and learn about the natural history of the island and it's sea life. You will definitely want to spend time exploring or just relaxing on the beautiful beaches teaming with seashells. If you have a boat, feel free to bring it with you when you come, we are very close to the Live Oak Landing boat ramp where I took the picture of the sunset. As the day winds down to an end you can relax by a campfire or just head inside and kick back and watch a movie from the library of dvd's that are available. The bed is a queen and the dining table area can turn into a full bed. I look forward to having you here to make Edisto Island your next playground.

The Sandcastle offers a peaceful and inspiring respite from life in the Big City. We have goats, Zebu cattle, peacocks, ducks, a pig, chickens and a pet squirrel which are accessible to guests!Please visit our website to view our Local Guide.The spaceThe sandcastle is an incredible "Glamping" space and includes one queen bed with bedding. There is also a futon for additional guests.. There is a floor in the dome and both small screen windows and full panel windows for airflow and to keep out bugs. The sandcastle is a "glamping" tent. :-) Because it gets cold in the evenings, we have special insulation in the cooler months to keep you warm, along with duvet and blanket there is also a heater for winter and small ac for summer. The bathroom is private. It is VERY IMPORTANT that only toilet paper goes in the toilet. We have a super sensitive septic system. We have a small trashcan for any feminine products etc. You have your own parking spot and there is a short 30 foot trail to your yurt. Food and restaurants are very nearby in town and I provide a complete list of all my recommendations.For guests who stay in the Sandcastle, there is an outdoor shower, a pool, Also, a kitchenette and grill, fridge, sink, and personal fire pit are available for your use.We have an aquaponic pond with koi that feed our hydroponic vegetable garden and multiple bee hives that pollinate everything. We also have many fruit trees on the property. There is a pond for our ducks, and the intracoastal river that is just a walk down the street.Check out is no later than noon.Guests are encouraged to explore the 6 acre property, relax by the pond, on the deck or by the pool.
