With only one campsite on the property, and the comfortably secluded surroundings, you will indulge in peace and beauty. Campers leave feeling refreshed and healthier than they arrived. The fresh air, the perfect sunshine and good quality mountain food feel great to consume.
You can enjoy the plentitude of animals here and surrounding the property. Both wild and domestic. If you're a bird watcher, this is like a natural sanctuary. Song birds sing all through the day, and the doves snore beautifully at night. Cranes, owls, hawks, humming birds, parrots, and many more I'm not familiar with visit all the time. We got farm ducks, and chickens too. My neighbor has a flock of Peacocks that are usually out to be seen (it's a hike to see them, but we can take you there if you'd like). Coqui's singing romantic songs all through the night. Crabs in the creek for the kids to catch. It's a jungle.
We have a lot of fruit trees on the property. If you see anything ready for the taking let us know and you can partake in the experience of harvesting and eating it. Bananas, avocados, soursop, guava, fig, calabaza, coffee, name, coconuts, pana pen, and more.
Clean filtered mountain water is available for purchase. As well we keep a regular supply of Caribbean snacks available. Sweet and savory available for purchase.

Over 500 squared meters of half fenced land will provide you a space to explore barefoot with your companion pets.
This open space also provides you with the essentials for a special evening: wine glasses, bottle openers, and coal.

The camping site has a private entrance with a self check-in gate. Parking spot is located outside the property so you must be willing to walk downhill to access the area. We only use solar or batteries lights.

Guest can explore around the premises at his/her own risk. Pets should remain on leash. Please, do not cross to the neighbors yards uninvited. Hiking jewels can be found at 20 minutes drive: Las Tetas between Cayey-Salinas, Canon San Cristobal between Aibonito-Barranquitas, and Bosque Carite, Cayey.

We came down here from New England in 1997 because we were invited by some locals to teach hanggliding here. At that time as certified HG instructors we thought ok lets try..came down here with our backpacks, a few hang gliders, and figured we would see how it worked out. Weekend Trip to Barefoot Travelers Rooms Guesthouse
What an amazing place! We loved our stay at Keishya’s guesthouse. It was perfect in every way: the beach, the pool, the nature preserve - near a charming town with wonderful hosts! The communication, cleanliness and attention to detail was excellent. And take the kayak tour to Monkey Island, it was the highlight of our vacation. Stay here, you won’t regret it!

The views are absolutely amazing, and we truly loved the hike down to the river, that was definitely the highlight of our stay. The location is beautiful and feels very close to nature, you would see a lot of birds.
That said, it’s important to come prepared for a true camping-style experience. Privacy is limited: you can see guests from the other tent and hear them from time to time. The bathrooms for each tent are located in the same area, just facing opposite directions, so if you’re very private or more introverted, this is something to keep in mind.
We also experienced issues with the water system. The hot water in the showers wasn’t working properly, and a water tube was broken. We were told it would be fixed during our stay, but it wasn’t. Because of this, we had to manually turn a valve on and off each time we needed to use the toilet. We were offered the option to use the campsite bathroom, about a 10-minute walk away, but the showers there were either cold or extremely hot, making them difficult to enjoy.
Other than these issues, we really loved the place, the natural surroundings, and the hike. With improvements to the water system and clearer expectations around privacy, this could be an incredible stay.

An exceptional experience! This camp site is stocked with everything you need! The grounds manager is very thoughtful and super responsive. The view is absolutely GORGEOUS! Keep in mind if you are renting a vehicle it is better to have four wheel drive. The mountain roads are difficult to traverse in two wheel drive!

We loved the space! There are thoughtful touches, the tent platform is flat, and we loved waking up to the nice trees. The gates you need to walk through to get to the Hipcamp are grey and not green (we got confused at first because it was dark). The hosts are very responsive and super nice! We really enjoyed chatting with one of them in the morning on our way out. We would definitely recommend this place!

This is by far the most beautiful campsite we've ever camped at, with one of the nicest people weve met in PR. The views are stunning with El Yunque and Vieques island in the background with 360° views from the mountain, an infinity style pool, indoor kitchen, fridge, bathroom with shower. This is our new favorite spot, the beauty, wildlife, and host were all fantastic. Thank you for such a peaceful weekend, we'll be back shortly.

Weekend Trip to Barefoot Travelers Rooms Guesthouse
It is difficult to overstate just how wonderful our stay was. The experience is best described as a “Bed & Breakfast” at a prime beach location. While it is not ocean front, it took us a good minute and a half to get to the beach. Trails are everywhere and the host was exceptionally good at suggesting walks, trails to take, so on and so forth. We planned some activities ahead of time but had we known just how private and meticulously maintained the beach is, we would have stayed at the house and would have made our dinners in house. Keishya is an outstanding host and she even made sure we had eggs, muffins, apple sauce and a few other things. I mean, talk about the details!!!!
In short, you will not be disappointed if you stay at this location. It is without a doubt the best experience we’ve had with Hipcamp and, mind you, we’ve had nothing but good experiences!

Tomas was great! The place was great! We stayed in his private camping area with an amazing view. We had a rainy first day but that didn’t stop us from enjoying the site. Tomas made sure we had everything we needed. Even though we were tent camping, it was nice having a working shower, toilet, and sink near by. The pool is in just a great location to enjoy such a breath taking view. His art is very custom and overall just a great vibe. He has a little slice of heaven here.

Awesome secluded location! Yet you're not to far from good food and tons of adventure nearby. Robert and his wife were super nice and accommodating. If your schedule allows it opt for the breakfast on the balcony! During our stay we did stuff all over the island this place is fairly centrally located. Which was perfect for our trip.
