Crabs in the creek for the kids to catch. It's a jungle. We have a lot of fruit trees on the property. If you see anything ready for the taking let us know and you can partake in the experience of harvesting and eating it. Bananas, avocados, soursop, guava, fig, calabaza, coffee, name, coconuts, pana pen, and more. Clean filtered mountain water is available for purchase. As well we keep a regular supply of Caribbean snacks available. Sweet and savory available for purchase. Exciting.

Property is less than 1 acre, it is approximately .25. Himpcamp website doesn't allow me to place that specific information. My Little Shack is a wooden structure property with kitchen and living room open spaces, it has 1 private room with 1 full bunk bed and another full size bed, one bathroom. No a/c, tv, microwave, hot water. Capacity for 4 adults. By kayak you may visit, preferably at new moon night, one of the 20ths world's unique Bioluminiscent Bay. PR has 3 and one of those is just minutes away to experience! You'll get to the shack house by a dirty and bumpy road, 32 steps up stairs, must be in shape! Also you can anchor your boat almost in front of the property (there is no dock for boats there, but you may dock your dingy while visiting Parguera Village, advanced notification has to be made for arrangement.) Birds, lizzards, manatees, starfishes, stingrays, dolphins, brilliant stars night and breathtaking blue skies, don't say about our sunsets and sunrises! Amazing cays are another natural atractions, ask for Mata La Gata sea pool area. Water in front of the house isn't suitable for swimming if you are not related to waters surrounded by mangroves but you may visit Parguera sea sighting by your boat, by in site boat rental at Parguera, parasailing, diving and many other tours... By car there are plenty of different kind of beaches at nearby towns. There are safe trails to explore. You may search for Parguera, PR, to take a glance of what you are missing! Puerto Rico, as a whole is 100 x 35 square miles, is a tropical island with a variety of unimaginable places so get ready for adventure! USA citizens don't need passport, a valid real id is all you need! What are you waiting for?

Very peaceful place. I personally enjoy nature and the lake is stunning. Next time I can't forget my fishing gear! You see big fishes close to shore. At night they have solar lights that helps a lot. The running water is only in the bathrooms which are very well kept. A place to get ice and supplies is a 2 min drive. Highly recommend!

Its easy to drive to the property. Near by there is a gas station you can purchase ice and other supplies. They also have a food truck near the gas station. There is a very peaceful and serene atmosphere. Bathrooms are clean. There is running water in the main gazebo that you can wash dishes. I love the place. Is my second time here and I plan to come again.

Awesome secluded location! Yet you're not to far from good food and tons of adventure nearby. Robert and his wife were super nice and accommodating. If your schedule allows it opt for the breakfast on the balcony! During our stay we did stuff all over the island this place is fairly centrally located. Which was perfect for our trip.

Robert accommodated us perfectly. we had access to a full size tent that was under a lean-to, hose water, chairs and a propane stove. It was a fantastic stay in the foliage. We were comfortable and were able to stay dry and under shade if needed. Robert was very friendly and helpful and gave us information on places to explore. Great, great time for our group of 5. would definitely recommended and stay again. Ps. His wife's snacks are DELICIOUS and would recommend supporting her local business!!

2 nights at My Little Shack by the Sea

This place is amazing. Honestly, it's one of the best places we've ever stayed. It is right over the ocean, has everything you need to cook, and is just so incredibly relaxing. Sitting in the breeze and looking out over the water is heaven. We also rented the house kayak and went over to a nearby cay and snorkeled. It's also possible to kayak around the corner to the La Parguera bio bay. So cool! We would stay here again without hesitation and recommend it wholeheartedly.

I had a great experience camping on Robert's property. So beautiful, quiet, and secluded. Robert and his wife were so accommodating, and I knew if I needed anything they were a short distance away. The campsite has awning to protect it from the rain, which was amazing to relax and listen to the rain hit the roof. The sunrise breakfast was awesome Robert and his wife are very cordial and interesting to talk to. Robert walked me around and showed me some specific plants on his property and also his chickens and geese were really fun to see. 100% recommend this property to any other campers wanting to take a nice break away from the heat andthe city. Although the campsite felt very secluded it was just a few minutes drive away to shopping and dining options. I definitely felt like I made new friends on the island 🙂

Had a great time staying at Rob’s - host is great with communication, and site is nice and truly feels like you’re in the middle of the rainforest (which you are!). Hosts themselves are super nice and interesting people to chat with; watched the sunrise and went on a hike to see some petroglyphs and a beautiful charco nearby. Highly recommend checking them out if you’re in the area!
