Luckily, we heard this property was coming on the market and we were able to work with the owners on purchasing before listing. The previous family will always hold a special place in our hearts - they truly worked with us to allow the transaction to happen. Since then, we have built our home and continue to chip away at projects to really make the place our own. We raise forage crops - corn, wheat, and alfalfa on a rotating basis, as well as a garden, flowers, pumpkins, pets, and kids! We hope you enjoy your visit! Nestled on a small farm, we are just minutes from the Owyhee River where many find enjoyment fly fishing for football-sized brown trout, rainbows, and more. With 360-degree views from the property, we invite you to set up camp and enjoy. You can have your boat at the dock of the Owyhee Reservoir in 25 minutes - or simply take a drive to enjoy the views, paddleboard, fish, swim, hike, hunt, off-road, and more. You'll find a local hot spring along the way to the Reservoir. Local restaurants and grocery options are as close as 20 minutes, and one burger joint even delivers! The sunrise over the valley and sunset over Mitchell Butte and the Owyhee Mountains just cannot be beat. Occasional wind storms crop up, so be prepared for that! Gentle pets are welcome. A round pen for horses/mules *may* be available for larger four-legged friends. Most do get cell phone service, and if you need anything - we are happy to help!

The place is comfortable and a good base camp if you want to explore the area or just need a place for a night or two. Family home with horses, chickens, and other animals. Must love dogs to stay here. Both sites with electricity and close to water to fill tanks or connect. Site#1 50 amp service on concrete pad Site#2 30 amp service on gravel pad Both sites are next to the residence. Sites 3 and 4 are for dry camping, your rig must be self-contained. The ground is NOT level. Sites 3 and 4 are only $20 per night. House newly built not much landscaping other than natural high desert terrain. Close to Shopping. Close to hunting, lake, and other recreational activities. No sewer services are available on site. Pets okay Room for horses if needed. Call to discuss.
