Lorane Beach Club

Lorane Beach Club is a sunny paradise a top a hill hidden in the dense Oregon forest. We have a spa complex for guests to enjoy, along with a shady grove to pitch your tent.

Campers have access to drinking water, picnic tables, seasonal fire rings, toilets, and the spa ($10/person).

The campsites are secluded and located about a three minute walk from the spa. Since our property is on top of a hill, bugs are minimal and sunshine is plentiful. We ask that you wear shoes while walking around our place. Clothing is optional at the spa. What you are comfortable with works for us. 

We're right down the road from Carpenter's Bypass, a great mountain biking trail system, Alesong Brewery, and King Estate, Oregon's largest winery.

Drive slowly because of dogs and humans and our nice gravel road.

We love all dogs, but please keep yours on a leash as we have two of our own. If they're friendly, they can play off leash.

If you just sit for awhile, you will most likely see deer walk by!

The fire pit...wasn't able to have a fire this time because it's fire season, but I imagine it would be awesome at this spot!

Learn more about this land:Camp features a loft nine ft.  off the ground, giving you a birds eye view of the four-acre property.   One mile away is the Umpqua National Forest that offers endless forest service and logging roads to explore.  Six waterfalls are conveniently located near by.  Wolf Creek Falls is the closest; only a half-mile to the trailhead, while Shadow falls is the furthest at fourteen miles.  Little River runs though the property where you can enjoy wading or relaxing.

Learn more about this land:Its a big field, we have some water for use from a hand pump and many amenities at the rv park across the street. We are a start up bunny sanctuary that is slowly growing. Yes there are 7 bunnies there now. It is beautiful in the spring and summer. Long term stays are possible.

Elk Island Camp Sites

Learn more about this land:Elk Island We have a 22.6 acre island with 10 acre feet of water rights from the river that we are just clearing and creating the final design so come and be a part of making the future come to life by implementing things we found from the past.Thomas Owens Ferry site is about 6 acres under the bridges that was the site of the 1850s Deer Creek Settlement ferry operated by Thomas Owens family which has about 6 acres inclusive of half the overflow channel and it connects to about 10 acres of inner city lake on the South Umpqua River. We recommend getting to the island early enough in the day to look around and pick the best area. The whole island is open to Hipcamp for campers to pick the area that suits them. The porta pots are in the northwest corner of the high portion of the island. Bring a fishing pole or book and enjoy the roughness of the island inside the center of Roseburg.

Under the West end of the Washington and Oak bridges are where the signs start so keep following.

Once you get to this area that has a sign on each side you are getting ready to climb onto Elk Island and go find you a space.

Ben Irving reservoir is 5 miles away, offering boating, fishing, and water sports. Girardet winery and Kantu brewery within a mile of camp site. The world’s largest Douglas Fir (Doerner Fir)  is accessible from nearby Forest service roads and a short hike.
