Rusty's Retreat

We bought this 125+ year old farm in 2010 with the hope of bringing it back to life. Overgrown and neglected, we have worked hard to make it a nice place for hiking, kayaking, fishing or any number of other activities. Peaceful and remote, the property has a beautiful brook that leads you to the South branch of the Portage river. Deer, turkey, geese, herons, mink and fox are just a few of our natural animal friends. Rusty the steer and his pony friends Buckeye and Lexi can be visited while they graze in the pasture. There's also Turk the turkey and his flock of chickens. We have the perfect place for dogs as well. We have four dogs that get along great with others and our fenced pond keeps them safe.

I'm Rusty a five year old steer.  I have a long tongue.

I don't have upper teeth in the front either. This is normal.

Riverside Camping

We have a kayak and canoe livery called Portage River Paddling Company. We are nestled on 94 acres on the Portage River. You will be camping
 in the back of our property along the Portage River. You will be just a 5 minute walk from renting kayaks, canoes, stand-up paddle boards, gem mining, axe throwing, cornhole, giant Jenga, goats, Gizmo the 160 pound Sulcata Tortoise, Jasper the iguana and more!  

Blueberry Farm Campsites

We have lived here since 2004, the blueberries have lived here for over 60 years. This site has more topography than most of the surrounding county (very flat here).

Several sites available on an organic blueberry farm near Oberlin College and Lake Erie. Blueberries are ripe in July. Site #2 is down by the Chance Creek, about 1/2 mile from the driveway. Very peaceful down there - a walk-in site.  Site #1 site is about 100 yards from the driveway, Site #1 also has access to a small shed that sleeps two adults and one child.  Both sites are woodsy and away from neighbors, roads and houses, however the interstate is not far. When the wind blows from the north you can barely hear it, but when a south wind blows and there is rain on the interstate, it can be pretty loud. Just got a "luggable-loo" if you need it, have liners, too.

Camp site #1 is back in this field, about 100 yards from the driveway.

Andy Kromer Farms

2014 it was bare land. Built a house and a farm with nice quiet relaxed atmosphere. Putting a pond and shower building in 2022, to offer fishing, swimming and paddle boating. I have a very nice bbq, patio, and fire pit for people to share. A near by local abandoned quarry for people to hike as well beautiful downtown Sandusky is only a few minutes away.Learn more about this land:10 minute drive to cedar point, on a beautiful farm. Quiet peaceful country nights. We have near by abandoned quarry, beautiful downtown Sandusky and cedar point only few minutes away. We are adding a pond for swimming and fishing 2022. A nice bbq, patio and fire pit on site. This is a working farm, with steers mooing and tractors moving at times. 

We have a huge deck with a pool. This is one of our 2 fire pits. This one is propane. The other is wood. 

Miller's Landing

Single family home on a corner lot in Huron Township. 10 min or less to Cedar Point, Sports Force, and multiple beaches, the Ferry to both PIB & Kellys Island Downtown Sandusky and so much more! 

On site Fire pit electric hook up, porta john, bbq, swimming pool,  We are also "Erie Eye Charters" a licensed Charter fishing service find us on fb.

This is the HUGE walnut tree. We enjoy lawn furniture in this area. The walnuts can be problematic for sleeping on the ground. 

We keep a lighted gazebo with a ceiling fan to provide shade and comfort for our patio table. It makes a nice eating area. 

This is an off season photo of our Charterboat including the trailer this is easily 35-40 feet. We still have plenty of room left before the road. 

This picture was take off season so the foliage is not as nice but this entire spance is perfect for tent camping and features the 2nd (wood)fire pit.

This was taken in Winter so the plants arent great but this area can hold multiple tents and features the wood fire pit.

All of this land is behind the pool and pines so its private from the house.
