GloryField Hospitality Farm is a 148 acre active farm and vacation destination. Enjoy your stay and the picturesque view of fields, cow pastures, and wetland pond. Spend your day fishing at the catch & release pond, hiking the 2 miles of mowed trails, you are 3 miles from the Ohio Erie Prairie Bike Trail head. Ask about helping with some of the farm chores. In the evening roast s'mores on a campfire, catch fireflies, or stargaze away from artificial light.
The farm is shared space with a variety of short term rental sites; however each site has over 100ft away from each other. The owner Kim also lives on the property in the barn with her 2 golden doodles Scooby & Trixie. GloryField is an active farm so there are also people, vehicles, and farm equipment that have access to the property. They are the only people allowed to drive beyond the driveway.
The nearest town of S. Charleston is 3 miles down the road and has a good grocery store, gas station, & dollar stores. Restaurants include Pizza/sub/salads, Chinese, Coffee shop, bakery, & Ice cream (unfortunately no delivery).

Beautiful spot, only 15 minutes from Old Man’s Cave. Jimbos Burgers is a good spot for food only 5-6 minutes away. Spot 1 had plenty of trees for Hammock camping, and plenty of space for tents as well. The fire ring was perfect, and we felt safe in this spot! We definitely recommend and plan to be back :D

The site was huge and pristine! The weather was not ideal for us novice campers, however, and we cut our trip a day short. But the location was wonderful, and the site was lovely, and the portapotty was very convenient. We will definitely consider returning in the spring with a better tent 😉

We loved camping at Hilltop over Halloween weekend. We went hiking in Hocking Hills on Saturday and had trick or treaters and decorated and won the best decorated contest! Karen was very thoughtful and had breakfast on Saturday morning. The only thing that I would change is the site itself. Some weren’t level but we adjusted our camper to be level. Bath house was great and clean with showers. We loved the dog park all fenced in at the top.

Our long weekend at GloryField Hospitality Farm in South Charleston, Ohio was nothing short of magical. From the moment we pulled into the spacious RV pad with our 40-ft Class A, we knew we had found a hidden gem—so much better than the crowded state parks.
The level, gravel site overlooks the wetland pond and is well maintained, featuring full hookups (electric, water, and sewer), a picnic table, and a fire ring with convenient access to firewood. The site has good water pressure and well positioned connections relative to the pad. WiFi is available, but plan on using cellular or satellite if you need faster speeds for streaming or VPN.
The catch-and-release pond located in a secluded corner of the property was a highlight of the trip. We caught several largemouth bass and crappie. We spent time just relaxing in the benches, listening to the birds chirping and the wind blowing through the fall corn.
Kimberly, the host and owner of GloryField, was warm, welcoming, and full of local knowledge, she made us feel right at home—even inviting the family to experience a unique farm experience. If you’re looking for a place to get away into the heart of Ohio, add Gloryfield Hospitality Farm to your list!

First off, communication was great from the start. We were warmly greeted upon our arrival by Margie’s husband and their adorable dog. The property is really pretty. Not really remote but definitely had a feeling of enough privacy. We had our tiny teardrop trailer and stayed at Site #1 at the very front of the property. We would definitely stay here again if needing to be really close to all the trails in the Hocking Hills region.

Had a great time at this farm for a weekend camping trip. Friendly and helpful hosts! They provided some extra firewood, fresh eggs, and plenty of space! Plenty of land to explore with chickens and cows on the property. Easy RV hookup and some flat spots for tents. The provided bathroom and shower was clean and sufficient. It's a mini-container unit. Plenty of room for an RV with easy hookup and no issues! Some of the trails weren't mowed recently so the grass was long, John Bryan State Park and Indian Mound are both close by for some good hiking and exploring.
The house on the property had guests, and one night there were yurt campers -- but still no issues with privacy or space. The yurts are REALLY far away and you wouldn't even know they were there if you weren't told, and the house if far enough away that space is not an issue.

This was a great first spot for our first time tent camping with 4 little kids. Easy to get to and in a great location. Super close to the various parks for hiking in hocking hills. Our kids loved their friendly dog, Roxy stopping by too. Will definitely be back!

Great views and a amazing lake trail. Everyone was very helpful and kind. This place is located 15 min from so many beautiful places to hike. It was a perfect Basecamp and refuge from the storms.
