Humble Farm with Simplicity

   Bring your family & friends to camp at our quiet and very modest small farm. Located in backwoods horse pastures with free range chickens, a dog, and a couple of horses. The property is very spread out and there is an outhouse for all sites to us.  Your pets are welcome too!  Locally there are state parks with beaches, and state forest for trails &  lakes, hiking and biking. Or you can just relax and enjoy the serenity!

Other attractions include local farmers markets, Gilette's Castle,  and the famous River Ferry crossing the Connecticut River with a vehicle across to East Haddam. 

We cannot allow any wood for camp fires to be brought in form the outside for environmental reasons.  It can be purchased for $12 per bundle on this site or $10.00 here at farm.

 Farm Fresh eggs daily when available for $4.00 per 1/2 dozen.  

No bedding is provided for cabin or trailer sites.

Garbage removal is available as well $5 per bag provided.

Nearby activities include local wine tasting, cycling, paddle boarding, swimming, hiking (Laurel Lake), tennis (Jean Cochran park at Peconic Lane), and kayaking. Closest provisions from Handy Pantry on Main Rd & New Suffolk Ave, and the Cutchogue Diner.

We are located 30 minutes from Long Island, NY.

Feel free to pitch your tent anywhere you like on the property. Choose the grassy meadow or the natural woods filled with trees. Have a campfire and enjoy nature. Bring fishing gear and cast away. Go for a relaxing walk on the 2,000 feet of walkable dikes right on the river. Bring your canoe or kayak and feel free to launch it right on site.

If you're bringing an RV, we can accommodate vehicles up to 30 ft in length and the sites require levelling. There is a water hookup but no electrical hookup.

Bring a bike and explore our dirt trails across the street. Or visit the man-made dam on Dam RD just 2 minutes down the road, where you can take a dip in the water. If you're looking to get away from the hustle and bustle, look no further!

Yurt in the Hamptons

The Yurt Sanctuary is in Westhampton NY just 3 miles to the pristine beaches of The Hamptons on a private lot with private access to full yard.  Total beach vibe here in the Hamptons -- sought out destination by surfers and fishermen worldwide.  This season we got a five burner propane grill for your grilling delight!  Beach Vibe all the time! Performing Arts Center, Bakery, Farmer's Market, Restaurants and Shops on Main Street just a bike ride away.  Gazebo bandshell host free summer art performances. RELAXED beach vibe! There's an Aquarium in nearby town of Riverhead, and a Splish Spash waterpark in Calvereton, and of course, there's the beaches!

There's a Dakota Fire Pit, Compost toilet and hot water outdoor shower, propane gas BBQ Grill.

The Yurt is 20' in diameter (314 sq. ft.), 11 ft. high to the dome, with 1 Queen and  1 Full size sofa beds comfortably sleeping 3.

An Eco-friendly Yurt experience will connect you to Nature and give you the best chance to relax.

20ft Yurt, 11 ft high to the Dome for star gazing. Sleeps four. 1 Queen bed & 1 Full bed 

Mini Fridge | Table seats 4 | Dinnerware, Silverware and glasses in cabinet. Coffee Pot on counter. There’s no kitchen. 

Table for four partially folds for easy storage. The chairs fold and store between the rafters.
