What to Expect - Country landscaping with native plants and pollinator-friendly “weeds.” Goathead stickers are common in rural Idaho. - Shaded areas, open skies, and seasonal views of horses grazing. - Yardwork happens around our schedules and between guests. Garden & Fruit From July to October, guests may enjoy cherries, raspberries, apricots, peaches, plums, pears, and apples—depending on weather and timing. Just ask before picking, as not all fruit may be ripe or reachable. RV Site Options - Site 1: Full hookup with 50amp (30amp converter available) and water. - Site 2: Covered RV Bay with 30amp and water—fits big rigs and slide-outs. All sites are back-in only—please plan accordingly. Utilities - $35/night covers water, power, trash, and access to a shared half-bath. - No generators allowed out of courtesy for all guests. This is the land where the original Maroa school house was built in 1914. Our house is original and is where the teachers lived. We live in a quite neighborhood surrounded by beautiful farmland. There is very little noise and traffic and the night sky is amazing!!We're located one mile from US-93 and 10 minute driving distance to Twin Falls for fun shopping, great bars and restaurants, and historic hotsprings within the area. Just a mile up the road are the fish ponds, a great place to explore and get the catch of the day or head down to the Snake River for more water related opportunities. There are nice parks nearby and great opportunities for hiking, horseback riding, ATV and dirt biking, biking and running trails, boating, kayaking, rock climbing, skiing or snow boarding. There is excellent outdoor recreation any season of the year. The great Snake River canyon is 2 miles away with nearby Nationally Recognized Shoshone Falls, the Niagra of the West, with a drop of nearly 500 feet.We truly live in an amazing part of the world! Nearly every day of the year you can watch the BASE jumpers from the Perrine bridge, one of the only legal places in the country. You name it, you can do it here. We're only a few hours from Yellowstone National Park and historic Sun Valley is 90 mins north or the famous City of Rocks rock climbing area can be found south of here.About 45 minutes to an hour north of here is Craters of the Moon National Monument for some excellent caving hiking and exploring.We use this area for storing vehicles or riding toys so please be respectful of our homes and the neighbors.

Learn more about this land: Oakley is a Great town to visit. Oakley features Victorian style houses built in the 1800s which are very amazing to look at. There’s also a great new swimming pool and park to visit with a playground. We are also located 15 minutes away from the world famous City of Rocks National Park and Castle Rocks National Park. We have beautiful sunsets almost every night. We also are 10 minutes away from the Oakley Reservoir which has great fishing and kayaking there’s plenty of mountain roads to adventure on and see wildlife.

We made a late reservation through Hipcamp. I messaged Arte and Alexandra and they were quick to respond. They answered all my many questions promptly. We tent camped in their driveway while 2 other rv campers were close by on the same property. The farming next to the property was very loud the next morning…early. I had no problem with the owners or property. I felt safe and comfortable. They have a small orchard on the property with the best green apples!! I would camp there again.

We just needed a stop over on our drive home from Teton Nat’l Park. Mendoza’s was simple, easy to find and required minimal setup for us. We got a good night’s sleep and headed out in the morning. Nothing fancy, but that was not a need for us.

The Ranchette was a beautiful and quiet place to stop for the night. As tent campers, we appreciated pitching our tent on the lawn as well as having restroom facilities. Our hosts and their dogs were delightful and helpful especially in guiding us to Cloverleaf creamery for some delicious locally made ice cream.

This was a great place for a quick overnight as we roadtripped through the Twin Falls area. The offering of a bathroom and water was really nice. The space was flat for a tent. We enjoyed playing with one of the cats, who was very friendly. The goats were fun, and quiet at night. For directions, using the address via copy/past was correct in Google Maps but for some reason the loaded link through Hip Camp took as a way that ended at a different farm (could have been user error on our part!)
