This is a great option for campers with larger RV's and if you need to hook up to electrical. 120v 30A electrical service and water available on this site. You can turn around easily in the gravel drive. And you'll camp right near our cattle where you're welcome to take picture, scratch their heads, or give them a snack. Tours available too, just ask, we are happy to show you around!
This site is well lit and located near our home. We appreciate guests and welcome you to visit with us, we have children and they love to play with other kids. There is plenty of room for pets to roam and do their business.
This site is private but as a working farm you may see or hear us doing our daily routine of feeding the cows or moving equipment. We are mindful of your privacy and would never do anything to disturb our guests or ruin their stay unintentionally.
You will also have access to the entirety of our 110 acre farm to explore and enjoy nature and animals. We have a firepit and firewood available for you to enjoy a little outdoor relaxation around the fire. If you need anything else not listed we aim to please, just let us know.
If you want to purchase beef we stock many items right on the farm. Availability of different cuts of meat and snacks will vary. Our neighbors also produce milk and eggs which available for purchase too.

Nestled within Nebraska's distinctive "Chain of Lakes," this area was the first to be developed, making it a popular destination for those seeking both comfort and adventure.
Each spring, Mormon Island SRA becomes a spectacular site as it welcomes hundreds of thousands of sandhill cranes, which stop to rest and engage in their captivating courtship rituals. This location marks the eastern edge of the cranes' migration route, with their arrival beginning in early to mid-February and peaking around mid to late March. Visitors flock to witness these magnificent birds as they feed and perform colorful dances during the day. By early April, the cranes begin their journey to northern breeding grounds, typically leaving by mid-April. Additionally, a variety of geese, ducks, and other waterfowl can be spotted in the area before they continue their migration northward. For the best viewing opportunities, park personnel are available to provide guidance on timing and locations.

Very nice location out in the Nebraska corn fields. It is conveniently located just a few easy miles off I-80 and is easy to find. Hosts Lance and Amanda greeted us warmly and checked to see if we needed water. Amanda provided good directions for backing in and getting hooked up to the electric connection. The space is completely level and very quiet at night. It’s a great choice for those trekking across I-80.

We only spent one night as a stopover on our way to Colorado. We got their after the store hours but after a text someone was there quickly to personally escort us to our spot and make sure we knew where everything was and all was good. Very personable. The grounds were very clean and well maintained. We got there too late to check out the mini-golf, but it looked cute. Good free internet service. We would make a point of staying here again if we were in the area.

This was a memorable stop! Aaron is a great host and the land is amazing. We hope he is able to expand the number of campsites with electric and outhouse. We felt very much at home. We also learned a lot about improvement in grazing lands. We would definitely like to return to see the progress being made.

Beautiful campground with lots of trees! Amazing for families with many daily and weekend events posted. Ask for a Flo special when treating yourself to an ice cream at the end of the day. It’s not just the ice cream that is special, but the smiles and laughter by “Flo”. Highly recommend this gem of a campground.

Loved this Hipcamp and will definitely return. Hosts were awesome and the views amazing. Was camping in the rooftop tent across the Midwest and had work issue pop up. Given the temperatures and knowing I would be working late into the night, I booked the bigger cabin to work in. The cabin itself was very warm and cozy and the views to wake up to in the morning were definitely worth it. In the -2 degree weather my tires lost some air overnight and before I left, the hosts were kind enough to use there compressor to put some air back into while we visited over some coffee. Really appreciated this Hipcamp and will definitely be back.

I only stay here for about 8 hours just to have somewhere to sleep during my road trip. I’ll definitely be booking with them again on future trips. A little out of the way but I didn’t mind for the quiet stay. I felt more comfortable staying here than a traditional camp site(which I’m sure I would have been fine). Being at this spot made me feel more comfortable for my first time car camping alone.
The spot and area around was clean and well maintained with decent space around the site.
Thank you for the short stay. Definitely beats paying for an over priced hotel room.
