Milo Farm was established organically a few years ago. The energy at Milo so amazing we wanted to share! There's a story behind the sacredness of this land, Loni can share that with you if you ask! There are 5 different ecosystems at Milo, all which hold their own magic!🪄 The lodge was built then the camping sites, then the Hippie Trailer, which is located near the west woods near the Fairy Forest. Then the Bunkhouse was established, it's just past the barn on the north end of the property. The lodge, where the Airbnb and pool are is centrally located on the land. We rent out the lower level guest quarters for non-campers. There are 2 stocked ponds, miles of trails, pool, Zen garden, farm animals and more. For diehard campers the beauty of primitive pack-in/pack-out camping of Freedom Field is a joy! Feel the energy of the sacred land. Find the vortexes here! Walking through the trails was fun. We can’t wait to come back in the spring. The Hobbit Hut was nice but smaller than we thought. The fire pit and animals were great for the kids. We went in early winter with some rain and still had a great time.

Milo Farms really is a magical place. Great hiking trails with little to no poison ivy. That is a big deal for me being severely allergic. All the wonderful people who keep the farm running are so nice and they are always happy to help. As a solo camper, I felt very safe as well.

I really enjoyed my stay at MILO farm. I had a weekend getaway with my two dogs and Milo was the perfect place to bring them. We stayed in Freedom Field at Anthony’s campsite. This was a perfect shady spot with the creek in the back. This is a pack in, pack out spot that requires some distance to get to. It’s downhill to get to the spot, but a heavy uphill on the way back. I was so appreciative of the option to have your gear driven to the campsite and again back to my car. I also requested to have firewood delivered which is a wonderful service. Additionally, the farmhands helped me set up my tent and even helped me get my first fire started. I am actively looking for reasons to go back. The only thing that was a challenge was the proximity to the army munitions plant. The occasional noise didn’t bother me much, but my dogs are a bit anxious and it really bothered them. While this is the perfect place to bring them camping, I would warn that if you have sensitive dogs, you may want to stay on the east side and not in Freedom field. Overall, I was quite pleased with my experience and I hope to return soon.

First-the crew there was so welcoming and helpful! Loni was out of town and they were great, from carrying stuff to our site, to showing us around, and telling us all about the place! I highly recommend doing the ATV tour to familiarize yourself with the property! We stayed in the Funky Bunkhouse. Super cute and comfy! The pool is also clean and so nice.

Milo Farm was exactly what I needed — a place to connect with nature, the trees, water, and the sacred land. The trails are wide, well cared for, and clearly marked, with lots of creative and thoughtful touches that brought smiles, surprise, and wonder along the way. The donkeys and goats were a delight and so heartwarming to watch. I stayed in the Hobbit Hut, which I loved for its cozy feel and location near the Frog Pond. A highlight was spotting a tiny frog, about the size of a quarter — something I haven’t seen in decades. The whole experience felt magical. What made my stay even more special were the meaningful conversations I had with Loni and the staff/WWOOFers, whose deep respect for the land and life shines through everything they do. I left Milo with renewed hope for the Earth and humanity. Truly a memorable and inspiring stay — I highly recommend it for anyone seeking peace, connection, and a little wonder.

My husband and I loved staying in the Bunk House at Milo Farm! The land is beautiful and radiates the care and love that has been put into it. The cabin was clean, very comfortable and was more than expected with cool A/C, a mini fridge and microwave. Goats and donkeys roam the land during the day and are so friendly and fun. There’s much to do and explore and Loni is an amazing host and a kind soul. Everyone we encountered was great - there was both privacy and community available during our weekend stay. The forests and trails were a highlight and truly are a sacred space. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back!

Liberated Grounds welcomed us which such pleasant and loving energy. We pulled up planning to camp in our car, but Burt & Angel offered us a tent and even helped us set it up! It was a beautiful space for the weekend! I loved the calm & safe feelings the whole experience brought to us. Loved the Bo Ho bus at Milo. It was easily accessible with parking close to the bus. Which is a big thing for me since I've had a spinal reconstruction surgery. The bed was comfy and the A/C kept it just right inside. Love the vibe with all of the colors and lights at night. I'd definitely recommend.

Loni is an excellent host. The BoHo bus met all of our expectations and then some. The land is beautiful, and it's amazing to wake up and see goats/donkeys right outside the door. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a unique getaway.

Weston Bend State Park

Catch views of the mighty Missouri River from high on the bluffs in Weston Bend State Park. Expansive farmlands of the river valley give way to wooded ridges, lined with meandering hiking and biking trails and scenic overlooks. Historic sites and expansive views await. Lewis and Clark State Park

Less than 20 minutes north of Weston, Lewis and Clark State Park showcases the expedition of Lewis and Clark, whose Corps of Discovery passed through the area in 1804.
