The lodge was built then the camping sites, then the Hippie Trailer, which is located near the west woods near the Fairy Forest. Then the Bunkhouse was established, it's just past the barn on the north end of the property. The lodge, where the Airbnb and pool are is centrally located on the land. We rent out the lower level guest quarters for non-campers. There are 2 stocked ponds, miles of trails, pool, Zen garden, farm animals and more. For diehard campers the beauty of primitive pack-in/pack-out camping of Freedom Field is a joy! Feel the energy of the sacred land. Find the vortexes here!

Great for the spiritually minded with several meditation spots and portals. Ask about availability of the art golf cart rental if interested. Loni can take you on a guided history, nature and meditation hike if you sign up for that. There are events happening some weekends you can participate in. We have a Call to Prayer 9:30am every day in the Art Studio/Spirit Shack, you may join us! Loni is a spiritual intuitive and can do a reading using the Milo Farm Oracle cards she created! Ask for availability of these things. Milo has a lot to offer!

A hidden gem in Topeka, KS. Roughly 44 acres and 41 buildings and cabins for your stay. We have a creek that runs through the property and you can bring your kayak or fishing poles. We also have roughly 3 miles of wooded trails for you to explore. There is a playground for the kids to play on, a basketball court, and a sand volleyball pit. This is very camp at the lake style. Bedding is not included for camp bunk beds. Cabins do not have restrooms built in, but we have shower houses on site for you to use. They do have electricity, heat, and air conditioning. We have grills on site for cooking as well as a bon fire pit to enjoy smore's. Dream Acres at Forest Park is 4 miles away from Lake Shawnee. The World-Famous Topeka Zoo is 5 miles from the park. The Hobbit Hut is a quaint and charming little cabin decorated with mushrooms and gnomes. It has what you need for a quite away from everything trip. The people that are around are friendly along with the animals. The trails in the forest allow you to come back to nature and just relax. It was truly a great trip to disconnect and recharge.

Good value, I just wish that the air conditioner had worked for the entire stay, that the out door Christmas lights were working and there were no mouse droppings on the beds, but all of that is expected since we are basically on a farm. Take care of your trash/leftover food because the donkeys will scatter it if you don’t take it to the recycling/trash sorting place! The land was great and we enjoyed the time together. Would recommend for people who have kids and don’t want to put up a tent.

Walking through the trails was fun. We can’t wait to come back in the spring. The Hobbit Hut was nice but smaller than we thought. The fire pit and animals were great for the kids. We went in early winter with some rain and still had a great time.

First-the crew there was so welcoming and helpful! Loni was out of town and they were great, from carrying stuff to our site, to showing us around, and telling us all about the place!
I highly recommend doing the ATV tour to familiarize yourself with the property! We stayed in the Funky Bunkhouse. Super cute and comfy! The pool is also clean and so nice.

Milo Farm was exactly what I needed — a place to connect with nature, the trees, water, and the sacred land. The trails are wide, well cared for, and clearly marked, with lots of creative and thoughtful touches that brought smiles, surprise, and wonder along the way. The donkeys and goats were a delight and so heartwarming to watch.
I stayed in the Hobbit Hut, which I loved for its cozy feel and location near the Frog Pond. A highlight was spotting a tiny frog, about the size of a quarter — something I haven’t seen in decades. The whole experience felt magical.
What made my stay even more special were the meaningful conversations I had with Loni and the staff/WWOOFers, whose deep respect for the land and life shines through everything they do. I left Milo with renewed hope for the Earth and humanity. Truly a memorable and inspiring stay — I highly recommend it for anyone seeking peace, connection, and a little wonder.

My husband and I loved staying in the Bunk House at Milo Farm! The land is beautiful and radiates the care and love that has been put into it. The cabin was clean, very comfortable and was more than expected with cool A/C, a mini fridge and microwave. Goats and donkeys roam the land during the day and are so friendly and fun. There’s much to do and explore and Loni is an amazing host and a kind soul. Everyone we encountered was great - there was both privacy and community available during our weekend stay. The forests and trails were a highlight and truly are a sacred space. Highly recommend and we can’t wait to come back!

Weekend Trip to Milo Farm Sacred Land
We love staying at Milo farm! Only 30 min from home, it’s an easy escape from the city. We’ve stayed in 3 different structures on the property so far and the hobbit hut is our current favorite!
Goats and donkeys will hang around you (protect your stuff while they’re out, they’re sneaky!), there’s plenty of trails and places on the property to explore, and it’s all wrapped up in a chill 70s hippy vibe ✌🏼☮️. We love the spiritual approach to the land and all the friendly people bringing you wood, checking in, etc.
I know we have more stays in our future! Big thanks to Loni and her community for creating and opening up the space to folks. It’s a refuge when times are tough and you need the healing power of nature.

Weston Bend State Park
Catch views of the mighty Missouri River from high on the bluffs in Weston Bend State Park. Expansive farmlands of the river valley give way to wooded ridges, lined with meandering hiking and biking trails and scenic overlooks. Historic sites and expansive views await. Lewis and Clark State Park
Less than 20 minutes north of Weston, Lewis and Clark State Park showcases the expedition of Lewis and Clark, whose Corps of Discovery passed through the area in 1804. Where they rested along the shores of a scenic 300-acre lake, a state park now offers outdoor recreation. Fishing, paddling, and boating are prime activities. The campground offers tent and RV sites, some with electric hookups.
Smithville Lake
For watersports and more, head to Smithville Lake, a popular recreation spot with 7,000 acres set amid the rolling prairies and hills. Activities include fishing, paddling, swimming, and boating.
