At the edge of a small town in Oklahoma, plenty of space to look out over hayfields, lounge in one of our hammocks, sit around the fire, watch chickens, ducks, and geese, and maybe lend a hand to one of our varied farm projects. Permaculture-based polyculture market garden that sells organic veggies and herbs. A few miles from Twin Bridges State Park has RV dump station.
The town is walkable and there are plenty of our bikes you can use. The main parking area will have some lights from the neighbors and 2 lane highway, but also have private areas to set up a chair or hammock. Behind the hedgerow (to the North) there's a mowed areas for a tent. There's also a tree platform. A train runs through town about 10 x day and night about 5 blocks away. There's capacity for leaving your trash/recycling here (I have to pay for weekly pick-up but rarely is my bin full), there's also washer/dryer that can be used (within reason)

Sunset Mountain is an exclusive reservation only 18+ clothing optional/nudist campground located on my working cattle farm. (Please do not drive up to our gate and try to get in. Please make a reservation in advance.) Although we cater to adults only we follow TNSF and AANR guidelines for social nude recreation. If you are not familiar with TNSF or AANR you can do a quick internet search and see some basic guidelines for social nude recreation. Sunset Mountain does typically operate as a blind service venue meaning we do business online and we and or our maintenance team may not be seen during your stay. Irena has a beautiful homestead! They were so welcoming and helpful. She answered any message or question we had quickly and kindly. My older kids loved the different swings and playing by the pond. My little one loved the chickens, ducks and geese! We had a peaceful weekend spot, lots of tree cover and a fun little pond. We would definitely camp here again!

When I arrived I was upgraded to a site that had a small privacy wall a couple chairs and some neatly decorated route 66 paraphernalia on the privacy wall. The RV park has full electric, water and sewer hookups on each site. There is a bathhouse that contains men's and women's bathrooms with showers and a washer dryer area for campers use. I must say the bath house was spotlessly clean and well maintained. The park itself has a New Mexico midwest vibe to it even though it's in Southwest Missouri. Would definitely go there again.

It was a perfect get away. Has so much to offer right on the land. They had a stack of fire wood for the evening another nice touch my stay. Enjoyed the lounge it had a coffee pot microwave mini ice machine and a vending machine you can buy firewood from it was perfect. Restroom was clean and close. There was all kinds of activities like Frisbee golf.... I had a very nice stay and I will return.

We had a great time here. Beautiful land and cozy cabin. Very comfortable and great kitchen set up with induction stove and convection countertop oven. Everything was very clean and well stocked with everything from board games to laundry soap. The hosts John and Ginny are nice and welcoming. We will definitely come back when we can stay longer.

This is my third time camping here as a stopover on a roadtrip and I have enjoyed every stay. It is close enough to the highway to be easy to get to and off the beaten path enough to be a quiet place where you can encounter wildlife.
Kelda is welcoming and a good communicator. I also appreciate the access to drinking water and a bathroom.
I would definitely recommend Stardust.

I love car camping in the the overland area at James place. It was far enough from the main part of the campground that I felt like I had privacy when I wanted it and close enough to hike in to hang out and join some of the other guests that were there for the weekend. The sun deck was great for catching some sunshine, the main firepit was awesome for gathering around with new friends and the hot tub was perfect place to relax before hiking out to my site for the bed. I am already trying to figure out a time to get back back out there. I cannot wait to visit Sunset Mountain again.

We chose to camp right by the water down away from everyone else, and it was BEAUTIFUL! I loved the property, we were able to fish in the creek and the lake, it was perfect! Plenty of space to spread out and enjoy the peace! I recommend staying here!

We were able to roll up just a bit before sunset and it was perfect! This was our first clothing optional Hipcamp and talk about freeing! Not only was that a fun discovery, the property was outstanding. Clean and nice touches everywhere from A-frame wash/shower room, the hot tub, pool, fire pit, BBQ, wash tub for dishes, etc. James and Amy greeted us to make sure we had everything we needed. The pool was made ready for us the next morning for the tiny window of sun we got (thanks James!) you can really see the pride and care for the land and the experience they provide to campers.
We didn’t get to meet any other campers this time however this stop will remain at or near the top of our camping experience list for quite some time - highly recommend. We will be back!
