We have 40 acres of woods, tiny waterfalls, hiking, stargazing, bird watching, and sunset watching for the campers who like primitive camping. Blackberry's are available to pick in late June or early July. There are three logging trails that you can bush wack your way through just behind the campground. Hobbs State National Park is close by off Scenic Highway 12, with biking, and walking trails galore! We are also close to many of the NW Arkansas mountain biking trails in the area! Access to Beaver Lake is a short drive or a long hike down the scenic rock roads. Due to the remote, and private location, we want to remind everyone that consuming alcohol under the age of 21 will not be tolerated. Safety is very important to us. Get cozy in this rustic space. With a woodburning hot tub, this is a perfect spot to rest and recover after a day of hiking, canoeing, climbing. Kitchen, shower, composting toilet, deck, comfy linens and firepits bring you back to yourself! This tiny home is on 4 acres that is close to town but secluded by woods and nature. The house utilizes a composting toilet and greywater systems, emphasizing sustainability. We designed this as a place to unplug, so don't have WiFi, a microwave or a TV. The water is set to HOT, and we have it set there because the hot water heater is a travel trailer size, so it only puts out a small amount of hot water. Please don't burn your hands washing them! Also feel free to turn it down if you need to, it is right under the kitchen sink. We recommend expecting a quick shower or turning the water off and on to soak your hair if you need to wash it and then lathering up. If the house is smelling bad in the bathroom, that is not normal and we will come and fix it.

From start to finish, this was an absolutely wonderful and enchanting experience that I will never forget. Mizzy is an exceptionally gracious host, warm, welcoming, and clearly passionate about the magical space she has created. The property itself is truly one of a kind, a healing, off-the-beaten-path gem that is well worth every mile of the drive to get there. My only regret is that I didn’t have more time to stay and soak it all in for a couple more nights, as I had to move on to continue my road trip, but I left with a full heart and am already planning my return. This place has earned a permanent spot at the top of my list for my next cross-country adventure. If you are even remotely considering it, just book it. 10/10, I cannot recommend this highly enough!

3 nights at Enchanted Ozark Fairytale Camp

My three young kids, our dog and I spent a few nights in the ‘66 van and it was an absolute dream! Two built in beds with comfortable mattresses and enough space for us to sit and play games in between. I fit great with my 6 and 3yo while my oldest got his own side of the van. Every night we got great sleep! There was even a small fan and lights provided. The van itself is so beautifully designed you can tell so much love was put into it and that radiates through the rest of the property as well. We very much appreciated the clean bathrooms with flushing toilets, the hammocks spread throughout ( our favorites being by the pond and creek), and the well maintained trail adorned with artwork of all sorts made for an easy and whimsical hike just perfect for the kids and still an adventure for me. Mizzy was so wonderful, considerate and a pleasure to get to know! We added on fairy crown crafting and a tea party and had so much fun learning the local edible and ornamental plants and flowers. She had endless patience for the kids and they’d like to return some day just to spend more time with her- I couldn’t agree more! I left this trip feeling totally restored and a little magical myself , which was exactly the goal.

Weekend Trip to Rocky Acres Retreat

Arriving we were greeted by the beautifully stoic hills and a dog resembling an old man greeting us yet remaining sceptical of our existence. Stepping out of the car we took our time breathing in the crisp, clean ozark air. The property is certainly tucked away creating a personal oasis. We happened to be the only campers that evening. Our airstream experience gave us all of the creature comforts we could desire for the nights stay we had. In the morning we were saddened to leave but very excited knowing such a place existed for us to return to.

We visited this glamping property as a group of five families and had an amazing experience. The tents were spacious, well-maintained, and spotless. We loved the overall setup, especially the cozy firepit area and the wide-open space where the kids could run around and play safely. The toilets and showers were exceptionally clean and thoughtfully arranged. The owners were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and communicated everything clearly, making us feel right at home. We had such a wonderful stay at this secluded cabin in Jasper, Arkansas. The privacy and the hot tub were absolutely the highlights — exactly what we were hoping for. I have an overreactive dog, so I was a little nervous at first when we noticed a couple of free‑range dogs around the property. They checked us out briefly and then went on their way. A Husky stopped by twice a day just to say hello before wandering back home. There’s also a lovely little creek on the property, perfect for sitting beside and listening to the water. Both of my dogs adored it — they were in heaven the entire trip. Kara, the owner, was incredibly helpful and attentive to anything we needed. Her kindness made the stay even better. We will definitely be back!

We stayed in the modern cabin #1 and had a very pleasant stay. The campground is small and backs up to a creek. You're close to Branson attractions but not in the middle of them like on the strip. I highly recommend you check them out if your headed to the area.

Weekend Trip to Explore the Ozarks - Dockley Ranch

The farm was wonderful. Was visited by goats and an alpaca also several very friendly dogs hung out with me while stargazing. Myke and Claire are wonderful hosts! Very much appreciated the warm cabin this cold December weekend! The hilltop/hammock area has an amazing view of the night sky. So happy to have watched the 2025 Geminids from here and would totally stay out here again.

We loved staying here! Claire and Myke are so nice and their property feels private. The bed was comfy and our space was warm. We loved watching the goats and liked have the dogs near- they are very well-behaved. We’ll be back again soon!

Weekend Trip to Enchanted Ozark Fairytale Camp

This was an oasis of beauty and healing. I was a solo female camper. Mizzy was a great host and I could see her working to maintain the camp to its beauty. I felt very safe. The hippy van was great. The bathroom was clean and I enjoyed all the special nature decor around the camp. Perfect views. Great fire pits. Loved the drive up the gravel road and back it’s breathtaking. Mizzy is there for you if you need her. Will be back. Thank you for letting me heal my heart and nervous system here this weekend! Peak fall leaves! My beagle Liberty enjoyed it too?

I absolutely loved staying in the container tiny home. I loved that each campsite was pretty private! Mizzy was the absolute best host. I sure hated to leave and cannot wait to come back. The container was decorated so cute!! You can definitely tell this was a labor of love.
