We have 40 acres of woods, tiny waterfalls, hiking, stargazing, bird watching, and sunset watching for the campers who like primitive camping. Enjoy the best of both worlds with a quiet, natural area to camp in, and destinations to see close by. Private area with sun, and plenty of shade. Blackberry's are available to pick in late June or early July. There are three logging trails that you can bush wack your way through just behind the campground. There are cliffs, and plenty of scenery to enjoy. We are a short drive away from Eureka Springs, Turpentine Creek(big cat sanctuary), War Eagle Cavern, and War Eagle Mill. Hobbs State National Park is close by off Scenic Highway 12, with biking, and walking trails galore! We are also close to many of the NW Arkansas mountain biking trails in the area! Access to Beaver Lake is a short drive or a long hike down the scenic rock roads. Due to the remote, and private location, we want to remind everyone that consuming alcohol under the age of 21 will not be tolerated. Safety is very important to us. The house utilizes a composting toilet and greywater systems, emphasizing sustainability. We designed this as a place to unplug, so don't have WiFi, a microwave or a TV.
The water is set to HOT, and we have it set there because the hot water heater is a travel trailer size, so it only puts out a small amount of hot water. Please don't burn your hands washing them!
Also feel free to turn it down if you need to, it is right under the kitchen sink.
We recommend expecting a quick shower or turning the water off and on to soak your hair if you need to wash it and then lathering up.
If the house is smelling bad in the bathroom, that is not normal and we will come and fix it.

This is an off-grid glamping cabin. The parking area is just down the hill from the cabin. It's a short walk up to the cabin, you will need to across the foot bridge over the creek and up a few steps to the cabin. The terrain on the property could be muddy or loose at times. Always watch your footing. There is no running water, but there is an 8-gallon jug over the sink for drinking and washing. Extra water available for longer stays. Composting toilet outhouse behind the cabin. Compost toilet bucket is cleaned out after every guest. Propane hot water shower is only available in the warmer months (usually April through October). The cabin is powered by a small solar panel setup. Please do not plug in any personal devices. They could damage the electrical system or overwork it. USB charging dock for phones, laptops, etc. Good cell service with most providers. Basic LED lighting. Direct vent propane heater. Full size memory foam mattress with plenty of warm blankets. There is a two-burner propane cooktop and mini fridge. Bowls, plates, cups and silverware for two guests. Basic food prep items are also available. We have 40 acres of woods, tiny waterfalls, hiking, stargazing, bird watching, and sunset watching for the campers who like primitive camping. Enjoy the best of both worlds with a quiet, natural area to camp in, and destinations to see close by. Private area with sun, and plenty of shade. Blackberry's are available to pick in late June or early July. There are three logging trails that you can bush wack your way through just behind the campground. There are cliffs, and plenty of scenery to enjoy. We are a short drive away from Eureka Springs, Turpentine Creek(big cat sanctuary), War Eagle Cavern, and War Eagle Mill. Hobbs State National Park is close by off Scenic Highway 12, with biking, and walking trails galore! We are also close to many of the NW Arkansas mountain biking trails in the area! Access to Beaver Lake is a short drive or a long hike down the scenic rock roads. Due to the remote, and private location, we want to remind everyone that consuming alcohol under the age of 21 will not be tolerated. Safety is very important to us. Get cozy in this rustic space. With a woodburning hot tub, this is a perfect spot to rest and recover after a day of hiking, canoeing, climbing. The house utilizes a composting toilet and greywater systems, emphasizing sustainability. We designed this as a place to unplug, so don't have WiFi, a microwave or a TV.
The water is set to HOT, and we have it set there because the hot water heater is a travel trailer size, so it only puts out a small amount of hot water. Please don't burn your hands washing them!
Also feel free to turn it down if you need to, it is right under the kitchen sink.
We recommend expecting a quick shower or turning the water off and on to soak your hair if you need to wash it and then lathering up.
If the house is smelling bad in the bathroom, that is not normal and we will come and fix it.

Handmade modern rustic off grid glamping cabin. Sits down in the valley overlooking a small creek. Located between America's First National River, the Buffalo River and the most unique town in the Ozarks, Eureka Springs, AR. Just 6 miles to the Kings River. Surrounded by hiking, mountain biking, floating, fishing and hunting. Built with an emphasis on using locally milled rough sawn timber, reclaimed materials and handmade details throughout.
This is an off-grid glamping cabin. The parking area is just down the hill from the cabin. It's a short walk up to the cabin, you will need to across the foot bridge over the creek and up a few steps to the cabin. The terrain on the property could be muddy or loose at times. Always watch your footing. There is no running water, but there is an 8-gallon jug over the sink for drinking and washing. Extra water available for longer stays. Composting toilet outhouse behind the cabin. Compost toilet bucket is cleaned out after every guest. Propane hot water shower is only available in the warmer months (usually April through October). The cabin is powered by a small solar panel setup. Please do not plug in any personal devices. They could damage the electrical system or overwork it. USB charging dock for phones, laptops, etc. Good cell service with most providers. Basic LED lighting. Direct vent propane heater. Full size memory foam mattress with plenty of warm blankets. There is a two-burner propane cooktop and mini fridge. Bowls, plates, cups and silverware for two guests. Basic food prep items are also available. Round 2-person dining table looking out the big picture window. The creek will be running when there is sufficient rainfall. Guests have access to the designated trails. The farm was wonderful. Was visited by goats and an alpaca also several very friendly dogs hung out with me while stargazing. Myke and Claire are wonderful hosts! Very much appreciated the warm cabin this cold December weekend! The hilltop/hammock area has an amazing view of the night sky. So happy to have watched the 2025 Geminids from here and would totally stay out here again.

This was an oasis of beauty and healing. I was a solo female camper. Mizzy was a great host and I could see her working to maintain the camp to its beauty. I felt very safe. The hippy van was great. The bathroom was clean and I enjoyed all the special nature decor around the camp. Perfect views. Great fire pits. Loved the drive up the gravel road and back it’s breathtaking. We had an amazing experience at Howler Bike Park. Jennifer and John were the most accommodating hosts and truly went above and beyond. The temperature got very low this weekend and they went so far as to buy extra blankets and took them around to make sure we were warm enough. The glamping tent was spacious and close to the fire pit, restrooms, and all the great things at Base Camp. The restrooms and showers were very nice and well kept. The coffee shop, welcome center, the food truck - it was all spectacular. We will absolutely be coming back again.

This cabin and location are perfection. The amount of well-honed craft that went into building the cabin and its outbuildings like the shower and outhouse are stunning, but so, too, the thought that went into making a comfortable space for guests. The mini-fridge and the large amount of water in the kitchen were so welcome. The meandering trails made my dogs so happy as we walked them several times a day. Even the light fixtures are worth gazing upon. I left here rested and restored.

We absolutely loved staying at Howler. The owners have really thought about everything. It was a beautiful hike to get to the tents, but staff came to help with gear and bikes right after we called. The tents were spacious, beds were comfortable, and they are just the coziest and cutest thing. The bathrooms were very clean and well maintained, and it was nice to have private shower rooms. We can’t say enough nice things about the owners and staff. John and Jen go above and beyond to make you feel like family while you’re there. The hiking trail and Swingset were great for kids and non-bikers, and the bike trails were a great challenge. We would recommend this place just for a weekend getaway, even if you’re not into mountain biking.

We absolutely loved our stay in the bunkhouse tent at Howler Bike Park! It was the perfect mix of comfort and adventure — cozy, clean, and super convenient for hitting the trails early. Highly recommend it to anyone riding at Howler or just looking for a fun outdoor getaway.

The kitchen was stocked with everything that you might need, & there is even onsite laundry.
