Sunset Mountain is an exclusive reservation only 18+ clothing optional/nudist campground located on my working cattle farm. (Please do not drive up to our gate and try to get in. Please make a reservation in advance.) Although we cater to adults only we follow TNSF and AANR guidelines for social nude recreation. If you are not familiar with TNSF or AANR you can do a quick internet search and see some basic guidelines for social nude recreation. Sunset Mountain does typically operate as a blind service venue meaning we do business online and we and or our maintenance team may not be seen during your stay. The Pea Ridge Bike Camp has 20 primitive campsites available for visitors to Northwest Arkansas and can accommodate tent campers, campervans, small and large campers and RVs. Even smaller Class A motorhomes (length isn't an issue but weight on a grassy field might be a concern should it rain heavily)
We offer large, spacious campsites along with firepits, free firewood and large cable spool tables at each campsite. Potable water, 2 outdoor sinks, 2 outdoor showers, 4 large ADA portable toilets (1 in front and 3 in back), and trash bins are centrally located to most of the areas. There is a large in-ground community firepit, a large canopy, 4 picnic tables on the property, a propane barbecue grill, a bike wash station, 2 hammocks on frames and a vintage phone booth (with phone charging capabilities, visitor information and trail maps) onsite. We have added a school bus with a booth and 3 benches as a hangout during inclimate weather. We are currently providing free firewood for each firepit. Very flexible check in/out times.
Pea Ridge Bike Camp is about 7 miles to downtown Bentonville and only 5 miles from Exit 88 and I-49. We are located n the country, yet only 1/8 mile to state highway 72. Restaurants, food trucks, groceries, banking and laundry facilities are only 2 miles away in Pea Ridge.
We have 10 designated campsites and 10 dispersed campsite locations that are not in any designated area to allow guests some say as to where they camp. We are very flexible with arrival and departure times. We do offer group camping
We will allow low-noise generators to be used in dispersed campsites. ** Please let us know If you are planning to use a generator.
Our campsites are large with some being very shady and others in full sun. Great for those equipped with solar power.

We have 15 beautiful acres of different terrain, with tree line surrounding the property; the forest area is great for our tent campers with multiple areas of seclusion and great stargazing. Great area to walk around and explore the wildlife or the guinea hen and turtles we have on the property. For our self-contained RVers we have various areas to utilize the grass but yet still close to shade, some with picnic tables, fire pits and some without but we are growing into those features for all sites. These areas also have great star gazing and pretty secluded. Self-contained RV sites can fit up to 45' RV, we ask that if you are towing you remove your vehicle prior to going into the site areas. We also have areas with concrete if you prefer to stay there also suitable for over 45'. Regardless of the site we have some communal fire pits to use and wood for a small fee. We have a porta potty in a privacy tent for those tent campers and can be moved closer to sites if needed. We added 2 electric spots 50/30 amp hookups both are full sun great star gazing at night. Neither area has table or firepit as of yet. Animals are welcome but we ask they stay on a leash. We have spotted several turtles on the property, and we have free roaming guinea fowl to help keep down on the pesky bugs. We do have mosquitos, tics etc. on the property so please come prepared.
We have a 13,000 sq ft building with Military Surplus, flags, FREE morning coffee and a small vending machine with drinks, snacks and ice cream in freezer 7 days a week 9am to 5pm. We do have locked gates after hours, so please let us know if you need a gate code. We make it easy to get in and out of the property with three entrances/exits and large enough for big rigs to pull in. We are on US HWY 60, aprox. 1.5 miles West of Indigo Sky Casino and a short 3 miles from River Bend Casino and Twin Bridges State Park. We are close to Grand Lake which is a premier fishing location and host top professional fishing tournaments here. Grand Lake is great for Large Mouth Bass, bluegill, smallmouth bass, white crappie and channel catfish. If you're looking for something different, they are known for having spoonbill as well. For the kids there is a Safari Park not too far from us with lots of animals to checkout.

We still find wild strawberries growing. The hills we ride and hike in, were once used by Jessie James and his gang. They robbed the local bank in Pineville, MO. And the first Jessie James movie, filmed in 1939, with Tyrone Power as Jessie James and Henry Fonda played Frank James.

The Pea Ridge Bike Camp has 20 primitive campsites available for visitors to Northwest Arkansas and can accommodate tent campers, campervans, small and large campers and RVs. Even smaller Class A motorhomes (length isn't an issue but weight on a grassy field might be a concern should it rain heavily)
We offer large, spacious campsites along with firepits, free firewood and large cable spool tables at each campsite. Potable water, 2 outdoor sinks, 2 outdoor showers, 4 large ADA portable toilets (1 in front and 3 in back), and trash bins are centrally located to most of the areas. There is a large in-ground community firepit, a large canopy, 4 picnic tables on the property, a propane barbecue grill, a bike wash station, 2 hammocks on frames and a vintage phone booth (with phone charging capabilities, visitor information and trail maps) onsite. We have added a school bus with a booth and 3 benches as a hangout during inclimate weather. We are currently providing free firewood for each firepit. Very flexible check in/out times.
Pea Ridge Bike Camp is about 7 miles to downtown Bentonville and only 5 miles from Exit 88 and I-49. We are located n the country, yet only 1/8 mile to state highway 72. Restaurants, food trucks, groceries, banking and laundry facilities are only 2 miles away in Pea Ridge.
We have 10 designated campsites and 10 dispersed campsite locations that are not in any designated area to allow guests some say as to where they camp. We are very flexible with arrival and departure times. We do offer group camping
We will allow low-noise generators to be used in dispersed campsites. ** Please let us know If you are planning to use a generator.
Our campsites are large with some being very shady and others in full sun. Great for those equipped with solar power.
Since our intention is to provide camping space for visitors to the area, we limited the length-of-stay to 10 days. If you are a VISITOR to the area looking to stay for more than 10 days please notify me and I can lift the length-of-stay. Please call with any questions or concerns.

We have 15 beautiful acres of different terrain, with tree line surrounding the property; the forest area is great for our tent campers with multiple areas of seclusion and great stargazing. Great area to walk around and explore the wildlife or the guinea hen and turtles we have on the property. For our self-contained RVers we have various areas to utilize the grass but yet still close to shade, some with picnic tables, fire pits and some without but we are growing into those features for all sites. These areas also have great star gazing and pretty secluded. Self-contained RV sites can fit up to 45' RV, we ask that if you are towing you remove your vehicle prior to going into the site areas. We also have areas with concrete if you prefer to stay there also suitable for over 45'. Regardless of the site we have some communal fire pits to use and wood for a small fee. We have a porta potty in a privacy tent for those tent campers and can be moved closer to sites if needed. We added 2 electric spots 50/30 amp hookups both are full sun great star gazing at night. Neither area has table or firepit as of yet. Animals are welcome but we ask they stay on a leash. We have spotted several turtles on the property, and we have free roaming guinea fowl to help keep down on the pesky bugs. We do have mosquitos, tics etc. on the property so please come prepared.
We have a 13,000 sq ft building with Military Surplus, flags, FREE morning coffee and a small vending machine with drinks, snacks and ice cream in freezer 7 days a week 9am to 5pm. We do have locked gates after hours, so please let us know if you need a gate code. We make it easy to get in and out of the property with three entrances/exits and large enough for big rigs to pull in. We are on US HWY 60, aprox. 1.5 miles West of Indigo Sky Casino and a short 3 miles from River Bend Casino and Twin Bridges State Park. We are close to Grand Lake which is a premier fishing location and host top professional fishing tournaments here. Grand Lake is great for Large Mouth Bass, bluegill, smallmouth bass, white crappie and channel catfish. If you're looking for something different, they are known for having spoonbill as well. For the kids there is a Safari Park not too far from us with lots of animals to checkout.

We bought our land in 2004 for riding and getting away. Built a cabin for us and our 6 children to stay in, when we came riding. We have been told that these hills were once used as strawberry farms. We still find wild strawberries growing. The hills we ride and hike in, were once used by Jessie James and his gang. They robbed the local bank in Pineville, MO. And the first Jessie James movie, filmed in 1939, with Tyrone Power as Jessie James and Henry Fonda played Frank James.

Very nice and welcoming! Close to both Roger’s and Bentonville. Our first night with them was the only night we planned on a fire r/t weather. When we got back from Roger’s that evening Damon had our fire pit set up for us to light it right up. He also brought over a picnic table for us to use. Free firewood too!

We didn't use the utilities because we pulled in late and left early, but the man taking care of the place came out and helped us start a fire during the night (it was very much appreciated, we were struggling) and he started a fire for us in the morning too! Awesome place to camp while in the Bentonville area! Damon's southern hospitality makes you feel right at home. The campground is equipped with hot showers, personal and community fire pits (firewood also included!) and a cool old school bus containing loads of information and maps of the area. The Handcut Hollow campground was perfect for my brief stay in Bentonville for some mountain biking. The area was well maintained and provided the basics one would need for essentially a tent site: level ground, a clean porta-potty, tables and fire ring. Even in a campervan, the consistent level ground was convenient. The combo-padlock chain at the entrance appears to be a decent enough deterrent for honest campers, not sure how the grounds are monitored and didn't see any cameras. Cell service was 4/5 bars; I'm onT-Mobile.
The Traverse connector trails are right next to the grounds and will conveniently lead you to the Handcut trail system/hub.
Lastly, as with any wooded area be mindful of ticks. Not so much in the 'groomed' grounds, but the taller grass and shrubs on the perimeter. I'd found one tick under my dog's collar; he's fine luckily.
All in all, a great, convenient experience. I was there in mid-November (and luckily timed with 75-degree days!) so it was obviously off-season with only two other boondockers there. In peak-season, YMMV.

Solid option for shredding the local trail or a quick drive or bike into town. I had a good stay in my campervan , campground was empty most of my time so it was super peaceful, even watched a couple deer pass by. Sites are flat and level , the sites’ proximity to each other is pretty close just an fyi. Gravel road to access the campground but in good shape. Portajohn and dumpster available. Other than that I think the grounds could use some nighttime lighting on the pathways/toilet/entrance gate. Thanks Hosts

Really enjoyed our stay at Pea Ridge. Damon was great & immediately offered up his knowledge about trails & things to do in Bville. His campground has a super cute set up with a communal fire pit/grill area & an old school bus full of informational pamphlets and maps. Not sure if every site has its own fire pit but site 8 does. Thankful to find a place that takes larger rigs as our options were limited at 28’. His location is super close to town and only took about 10 minutes to get to Crystal Bridges Art Museum.

Excellent location for cycling. Short drive from town located right on some of the best gravel routes in the sugar creek/Pea Ridge area. Rustic camp site with 30 amp hookup. Hosts were friendly and quick to address questions and solve a technical problem with the 30 amp service. Would definitely stay again.
