Escape the hustle and bustle and immerse yourself in nature at our remote camping spot nestled in the woods. Whether you're a bird watcher, artist seeking inspiration, or simply craving tranquility, this is the perfect retreat. Listen to the gentle rustle of the wind through the trees and embrace the serenity of the surroundings. Keep an eye out for wildlife such as raccoons, opossums, armadillos, foxes, deer, owls, and coyotes (no bears here!). Guests are welcome to explore the hiking trail, which takes approximately 45 minutes to complete the circle. A map of the trail is provided inside the tent for your convenience. Please note that the woods have ticks and chiggers, so remember to bring your Deep Woods Off for added protection. Unplug, unwind, and reconnect with nature at our secluded camping spot.Leaning Tree Woods is a glamping campsite with a 10X12 canvas tent on a deck. The site is located on 20 acres of woods way out in the country and is very private. Firewood for the fire pit is provided on the honor system. Bedding is available upon request for the queen size bed inside the tent. A dome tent is available for extra guests and can be set up by the time guests arrive if requested. There is an extra air mattress under the bed if needed. Water is provided and can be refilled if you run out. A trail runs the circumference of the property and takes about 45 minutes to hike. A parking area is beside the road and a wagon is available to haul supplies down to the campsite. Note there is no turn around at the site. If you drive down to the site you will have to back all the way out and the road is extremely narrow.

Beautiful Hidden Getaway

Great place for hiking and getting away in the woods. The trails are very well marked and the ropes help those of us that are , let’s just say, out of shape😆. Will definitely be back. Carol has thought of everything you could need and then some! Love her and her land!
