Sunset Mountain is an exclusive reservation only 18+ clothing optional/nudist campground located on my working cattle farm. We are not a place for partying or any sexual activity or PDA. We are a place to relax and enjoy nature. (Please do not drive up to our gate and try to get in. Please make a reservation in advance.) Although we cater to adults only we follow TNSF and AANR guidelines for social nude recreation. If you are not familiar with TNSF or AANR you can do a quick internet search and see some basic guidelines for social nude recreation. Sunset Mountain does typically operate as a blind service venue meaning we do business online and we and or our maintenance team may not be seen during your stay. Sunset Mountain is a nice quiet place to relax and work on your tan. We have RV sites, tent camping areas and overlanding sites. As lodging options we have a converted bus and shipping container. The campground has a bathroom facility with indoor shower and seasonal outdoor showers. We have a hot tub and propane grill guests can use year round along with hiking trails in the summer and a swimming pool.
Sunset Mountain is near the Elk River in Noel Missouri and close to Northwest Arkansas where there are mountain biking trails, museums and many other activities. Sunset Mountain is listed on the Monarch Butterfly Waystation registry as well.
We are located 1.2 miles away from the Noel city park that has free Elk River access, 4 miles to Mt. Shira free Elk River access near Shady Beach and 5.2 miles to the free Elk River access in Pineville, MO near Shady Beach Pineville.

At the edge of a small town in Oklahoma, plenty of space to look out over hayfields, lounge in one of our hammocks, sit around the fire, watch chickens, ducks, and geese, and maybe lend a hand to one of our varied farm projects. Permaculture-based polyculture market garden that sells organic veggies and herbs. A few miles from Twin Bridges State Park has RV dump station.
The town is walkable and there are plenty of our bikes you can use. The main parking area will have some lights from the neighbors and 2 lane highway, but also have private areas to set up a chair or hammock. Behind the hedgerow (to the North) there's a mowed areas for a tent. There's also a tree platform. A train runs through town about 10 x day and night about 5 blocks away. There's capacity for leaving your trash/recycling here (I have to pay for weekly pick-up but rarely is my bin full), there's also washer/dryer that can be used (within reason)

The cabin is perfect. John is great he helped us with getting to town after our car broke down. The grounds has so much to offer. I came in Nov seen John building the cabin and had to come back. Sunset Mountain is a beautiful place. The Jesus Bus was an awesome place to stay. We left our own messages on the walls like others have when they stay there. Pool was very refreshing and the guest were all friendly. The host family was very inviting and we hope to be able to go there again sometime. Nice place to get away from the hussle and bussle of life.

Beautiful place, peaceful, and secluded. The bus was excellent, comfortable, and delightfully whimsical. James was a wonderful host and made us feel very welcome. Will plan for many return trips.

The 1988 Airstream was sooooo cool! I loved the vintage theme. Red was great at communicating and there to answer any questions if needed. We didn't have any problems.

Ch clean in was very simple. The accommodations were everything the pictures showed. No surprises. Communication with the host was easy and quick responses. The grounds well kept and saw new glamping sites being built. Restrooms and showers were well kept. Would for sure stay here again.

1 night at Bigfoot County Campgrounds
I loved that this place was secluded and quiet. I also very much enjoyed the fire pit. I appreciated that the wood was provided. My son and I had a wonderful time there. Michael was great. Thanks!

3 nights at Bentonville Bike Camp
This was my second time staying at the Bicycle Campground. The first time was passing through on our way back from Colorado. This time I stayed in one of the a-frames for four nights while in town for a work trip. The campground is a short drive from the trails in Bentonville, Bella Vista, as well as the soon-to-open OZ Gravity Park. I did manage to ride to the Back 40 trail from the campground one evening, which was really nice. Love this place!
