Best suited for tent or small campers. We offer firewood, a port a potty, a dumpsite for holding tanks, water from our well to fill your water tank and electricity to charge devices and RV batteries at my barn. Generator rental available on a first reserve, first serve basis. Located about halfway between Springfield, MO. and Branson, MO. Nearby attractions include trout fishing, and a mountain bike park.
Please note, This campground is located in a floodplain and weather related cancellations are common.
Fish, Fish, Fish. This river is primed for fishing. You will have to bring your own boat, or float as I don't have good river bank fishing access. I added a small floating dock last year to fish or swim off of. There is a state park boat ramp a short distance away. The steps in the photos are plenty sturdy to tie boats to overnight. This river is fishable with flat bottom jet drive boats most of the spring and early summer and floatable year round. You can float to your campsite and relax instead of waiting in line at the boat ramp.
Also we are located about 13 miles from Crane Creek, A blue ribbon trout park. You can camp here and fish there.

Float, Fish, Swim or vacation in the Ozarks. We have approximately 3 acers of the 15 we own set aside for camping. Plenty of room for two campsites on cleared, level land adjacent to the James River. Best suited for tent or small campers. We offer firewood, a port a potty, a dumpsite for holding tanks, water from our well to fill your water tank and electricity to charge devices and RV batteries at my barn. Generator rental available on a first reserve, first serve basis. Located about halfway between Springfield, MO. and Branson, MO. Nearby attractions include trout fishing, and a mountain bike park.
Please note, This campground is located in a floodplain and weather related cancellations are common.
Fish, Fish, Fish. This river is primed for fishing. You will have to bring your own boat, or float as I don't have good river bank fishing access. I added a small floating dock last year to fish or swim off of. There is a state park boat ramp a short distance away. The steps in the photos are plenty sturdy to tie boats to overnight. This river is fishable with flat bottom jet drive boats most of the spring and early summer and floatable year round. You can float to your campsite and relax instead of waiting in line at the boat ramp.
Also we are located about 13 miles from Crane Creek, A blue ribbon trout park. You can camp here and fish there.

This property has beautiful walking/hiking trails through the woods with gorgeous mountain views. Enjoy the sounds of the woods, in a private, quiet and serene setting. The open space can be used to practice tomahawk/hatchet throwing, bow and arrow target practice. One may chop and stack firewood. Available: Fire-pit cooking, berry-picking (seasonal) rock hunting and carry water from the live spring. There is fire-wood available for the fire pit. Weekend Trip to Explore the Ozarks - Dockley Ranch
The farm was wonderful. Was visited by goats and an alpaca also several very friendly dogs hung out with me while stargazing. Myke and Claire are wonderful hosts! Very much appreciated the warm cabin this cold December weekend! The hilltop/hammock area has an amazing view of the night sky. So happy to have watched the 2025 Geminids from here and would totally stay out here again.

Cabin was large, two bedrooms, couch and loft. Every was very clean and well stocked. Staff is helpful and the park is cozy. Water had sulfuric smell, it’s like mineral water coming out of the faucet 😜

We loved it. A quiet pocket of woods that feels worlds away. The campsite is old-school and unfussy—just everything you need :) —it’s thoughtfully stocked and surprisingly cozy. We went during late summer and the trees produce a flood of green, and companioned by the nearby river, it was all entirely refreshing. We loved the privacy, the walkways, a home for a fire & a canoe at the ready. If you want seclusion with a touch of trust and care, this spot is a pure woodland balm.

This is our new favorite spot. We have stayed at both site 1 & 2. The sites are always clean and ready to go. We have gone alone several times, however, Each site has multiple tent spots for larger groups! Creek Front fire Pits!!! We give this 7 stars out of 5!

In an effort to preserve this hidden gem... “you definitely don’t camp here, it’s horrible!” — JUST KIDDING! We loved our stay at Buehler Farms, it was such a fun oasis for family and puppy. Totally private, but close enough to town to grab essentials if needed. We loved fishing in the river, caught a ton of creek chub and even a rainbow trout! We’ll definitely be back. This place would even be great for a trip with another family, plenty of room for everyone. (Just bring a good mallet if you plan to stake your tent in the rocky areas).
