I loved how peaceful it was. It’s close to attractions but far enough from the noise.

Weekend Trip to Bayou Peninsula

I stopped in for a quick overnight, it was fairly quiet and very picturesque. It was easy to get in and out with my motorcycle, and there was plenty of space for my backpacking tent.

1 night at Mark's Marvelous Masterpiece

Mark is a great host and the property is lovely. Very quiet and very scenic (on the river). Bathroom is super clean. Mark even invited us to pick dewberries in his yard! They were delicious. A great experience and we would highly recommend. Check out Bama Bobs BBQ right down the road. Outstanding!

Mr.Bob was an amazing host he told us the best fishing spots on his ponds and we had a wonderful spot to see the stars and watch the sunrise and sunset! In spot three you can set up your tent to face the water directly and you feel secluded! The grill he setup was perfect so everything still felt rustic. Absolutely loved the experience!

This campsite was beautiful and right on the pond. Bob was a great host who reached out beforehand to ensure we would have everything we needed. The site has a fire pit with a grate for cooking with wood provided. It was a great and relaxing time with my son and will most certainly return.

We had such a peaceful and magical stay on Bob’s land. The night sky was absolutely breathtaking, so many stars, it felt like we could see the whole galaxy. The lake was beautiful and calming during the day, and the fire pit made the nights extra cozy. We roasted marshmallows and just soaked in the quiet. It did get pretty cold at night, so come prepared with warm layers! Thank you, Bob, for sharing such a special place with us!

We LOVED our time at Bayou Peninsula! Debbie and O.J. are gracious hosts with a beautiful property. The location is conveniently near I-10, the beach in next door Waveland, also bars, restaurants, shopping etc while being secluded enough to enjoy true peaceful down time. We enjoyed watching the waterfront property change with the tides and stargazing by the firepit at night. Debbie's generous hospitality cannot be overstated. She went above and beyond to make our stay a success. We look forward to our next getaway at Bayou Peninsula. If you go, say hi to their adorable pups Sandy and Leroy for us! Thanks again Debbie!!

I have a charcoal and gas grill available on the deck, as well as a smoker. A playground area with swings. Hunting is NOT allowed. We provide a sanctuary for the wildlife. Horseback trail riding is available with enough notice at an extra fee. We also offer many other add ons such as jump houses, water slides, a game room with pool table, foosball, pacman and big screen tv, and catering along with complete Party and Event Planning. We are located 45 minutes from the Mississippi Gulf Coast and 60 minutes from New Orleans. Small groups are our specialty. Discounts available for multi-site bookings.
