We are following food forest and permaculture methods instead of traditional gardening, and our long-term vision for this land is a new garden of Eden!
We need all the help we can get, so we also offer volunteer trade opportunities to anyone interested. Or, if you just need a place to step back from the busy hub of society, ground and reconnect with nature, Soultribe is the sanctuary for you!

I had the most incredible experience here on Austin and Wanda’s Christmas tree farm! I stayed on Christmas and they were so kind as to share leftover Christmas food with me. Thank goodness bc everything was closed. Their dog Moscato got along with my dog perfectly and tired him out playing after a long drive. They offered to put him up before I got there but I was happy to have the dogs play. They went far above and beyond my expectations and the site was nice and private. There was an outlet to charge my phone and a spot for a fire and wood although I didn’t build a fire. 10/10 would recommend. I’m glad I chose this spot. They were such a sweet, kind, and generous couple.

Debbie was the most kind and over-the-top accommodating host I’ve ever met. She spoiled me and my two girls! She fed us dinner and gave the girls treats. In the morning she gave the girls hot chocolate, toys and beads to play with. Her property was fun… being right on the bayou! She even had kayaks for us to use. She set chairs out for us to use to watch the bats at sunset. An absolutely amazing time was had!

Stayed one night here in a tent, definitely more of an RV type site, but had a great experience nonetheless. Bathrooms and showers available for use. Drove in after dark and accidentally set up camp in a non-site area but the host was kind about it. Saw a few gators and the frogs were going wild across the water.

We LOVED our time at Bayou Peninsula! Debbie and O.J. are gracious hosts with a beautiful property. The location is conveniently near I-10, the beach in next door Waveland, also bars, restaurants, shopping etc while being secluded enough to enjoy true peaceful down time. We enjoyed watching the waterfront property change with the tides and stargazing by the firepit at night. Debbie's generous hospitality cannot be overstated. This property is a hidden treasure and easily accessible from I 10 Interstate. Quiet and relaxing with a very sweet host. We had nice large field with a vineyard all to ourselves. Plenty of space to take a stroll through the adjacent Christmas tree farm fields which are quite beautiful too!

To say that this was an amazing stay would be a massive understatement. Thank you so much for being so welcoming and for having such a beautiful property to spend 5 days at. Waking up next to the river each day was so calming and peaceful. Beach is 10 minutes up the road. Easy access to grocery stores, restaurants, and Walmart. Amazing host and would return in a heartbeat!
