If you are coming in from the north, the cabin will be on the right. If coming in from the south, it will be on the left. Let me know If your eta is after dark, and I can leave the porch lights on for you.

Scott County is a dry county with beer available for sale or beer and alcohol for dining in at some locations.
Sweet Olive Cabin is not a “pet-friendly” property. We do, however, make an exception for registered service animals with an additional $25 fee.
In Forest (5-8 miles), there is Vowell’s grocery store, Walmart, and many fast food restaurants. For eating in, try Foothills lunch/dinner with live music on Friday and Saturday nights. If you are looking for some genuine southern cooking, there’s The Garden Patch (open till 2 pm M-Th).

Each RV slot provides a 1500 sq ft. area (25'x60' of asphalt), a 12' by 50' concrete pad, and full hook-ups including water, sewer and electrical (20, 30 and 50 amp) service. A centrally located handicap accessible bathhouse with showers is open at customer request to be utilized throughout the stay. Rates are available for daily, weekly and monthly rentals. We loved our 1 night stay at Hometown Host! The directions they provided were clear and easy to follow. Tony and Tracy are super friendly and welcoming. They even invited us to watch the Sugar Bowl with them.
Their property is beautifully kept and very quiet at night. Hooking up was a breeze. Their 3 little pups are adorable and sweet natured. We enjoyed a very easy and relaxing stay.
We highly recommend this Hipcamp! Book it -- you won't be disappointed!

We only overnighted at Wendy Oaks. It was a great, easily accessed campground for us. I add that as we travel with a small trailer and a U-turn was necessary. The trees and lake made me feel like I was in a camp ground, Unfortunately it rained all night and we skipped the hike around the lake. Our site was gravel but level.

Our stay was pretty much what we were looking for - secluded, quiet, and comfortable. The best part was the staff. They were beyond just friendly and professional, but were also very accommodating. They gave us a side-by-side tour of the property, let us borrow a phone charger, and even offered us fishing poles and bait to use in the two beautiful ponds. If you are looking for something secluded and quiet where you can just relax and enjoy nature, we strongly recommend.
