Provision Family Farms

Nestled in Manistee National Forest is a family farm. Trailheads lead to hundreds of miles of  public two-track, and the woods roll between oak/maple/beech and aspen/birch. On the farm is a 20 acre lake with a floating island, tent sites, and healthy ecosystems with plenty of wildlife.Our farm pastures pigs, cattle, sheep and poultry, investing in our dirt and our neighbors. We are provision family farms because we provide for our animals even as we are provided for. Drop on in at the house and we may have time for a little tour.In the woods is a small composting toilet, but you're welcome to fertilize our pastures anytime. There's also a shower available in the house.The best time to visit Michigan forests is in October when the leaves turn color and the nights are cool. The mosquitoes are done for the winter and the air is brisk.

Learn more about this land:Very secluded land in Newaygo County, near White Cloud/ Brohman/ Woodland Park area. The property is surrounded by National Forest Land. There are two properties available for rent, or the both could be rented out if you choose. A sandy road leads to the properties, and then a two track to get to them. Both are mostly flat with great spots for tents or RV campers. Perfect spot for anyone looking for a private campsite that can accommodate groups up to 30 people.

There is much wildlife to experience across the 10 acres and your own pond ! You will be minutes from both Lake Michigan and Manistee Lake.  Our beautiful rivers are close by !  Canfield lake is also right down the road and provides a nice clean swimming spot for everyone. 110 electrical cord provided with potable water supply. Chickens eggs available as well as Firewood, Noisy rooster will wake everyone at sunrise !  10 Acres is clearly marked with yellow stakes and orange snow fence, please keep shoes on at all times on the trails and down by the pond.Kayaking, Hunting, Fishing, Beaches, Nature, it is all just a few miles from this nice little property.
